There are no photographers flashing glamorously onto the red-haired woman as she mounts the steps to the podium. Nevertheless, Evza waves happily to the crowd gathered like a movie star or politician, a wide smile on her face. On the stage behind the podium sit Giovanni and JimmyTheLionHeart, talking together in low voices. She aligns herself behind the podium and glances down at the microphone below her, then reaches out to tentatively tap it. The muffled echo from the speakers quiets the last few chatty audience members. She gives the crowd a nod and smile before speaking.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to announce that my beloved Boss, Giovanni, has gained the prestigious rank of Don! Those sleepless nights and drawn-out days have finally paid off. I couldn't think of a more deserving person for this honor.
