Your last words Started by: Rosalee on Apr 24, '09 01:25
Sitting on the floor, scared that he will pull the last trigger any second now...

You screwed me over, you just threw everything away!

the tension grows strong, and you can feel your heart racing, frantically, you know your life is over but you feel some kind of hope.. a strong sense. But it vanishes as he pushes the gun into your head

I gave you a task, so easy a goofball, can do it!! Now, your going to die, because you seem to not hear me when i speak.

He begins to tighten the trigger, and stops

Well, since i'm a respectful man, i'm going to ask. Any last words? Make it quick, i have some "Coverage bills" To collect.

He sits there, impatiently, your heart, mind and soul races, trying to find the last words to your death. Something you could be remembered by? Something you could be heard by? You think hard and long..

(What would you say?)

Hearing the young woman speak her hypothetical situation in the street, MacLeod stops for a minute and leans against the nearby lamppost.

An interesting question, Miss Rosalee- I actually immediately thought of a particular favorite poem of mine that was written by Victor Hugo. While the words may not originally be mine, I like to think I've poured something of myself into them through the years.

MacLeod stops and chuckles for a minute.

Hopefully I'd have the time to get it all out before the trigger was pulled- but to be fair, miss, you didn't offer a limit.

Clears his throat and begins to speak in the low, rhythmic pattern he slips into late in the night.

As I have set my lip to her still brimming cup,

as I have laid my foreheard in her hands,

as I have drawn the warm breath

of her soul, wrapped in its redolence,

as I have heard her speak to me the words

the heart pours forth to show its mystery,

as I have seen, though weeping, yet seen smile,

her mouth on my mouth, her eye into mine,

as I have felt on my astonished head

the lightbeam of her star, still veiled,

while into the waters of my life one rose leaf

dropped out of the flurry of her days,

now I can say to the harried of the years:

Go! I have nothing left to age! I'm done

with you and all your withered flowers.

I have here the flower none can cut!

Your wingstroke cannot shake from this cup

one drop of what fills it to the brim.

My soul has more fire than you have ashes!

My heart has more love than you have dark!

Wow. With that well thought poem, he might let you live.
Report Post Tip
Possibly. Or it might distract/confuse him enough to let me grab the gun. Who said poetry can't be practical, too?
Report Post Tip
Or it might be a secret call to his tribe of mini Leod's to they can come kick his ass. :D

Death is nothing, but to live defeated and inglorious is to die daily.
Report Post Tip
I'd like to think I could talk my way out of this.

I'd like to think I hadn't gotten into this in the first place.

I'd like to think he misses and I live.

But as the scalding blood bubbles from the wound and I stare in disbelief...

I'd like to think my last words are "I'm so sorry Adrian, I wish we had more time."
Report Post Tip
Touching.

"Fuck you all" Would do for me.

:D

I would want to say something that is nothing else, he might think about in the future....maybe even haunt him a bit.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Now pull it....Pull the fucking trigger!"

Brick, as usual, was taking his normal morning stroll through the streets when he happened upon a depressing, yet intriguing speech. He looked on as others took turns revealing their last words, then pondered his own. He thought and thought and thought, until it came to him.

Well, this is quite depressing. But I supposed we are all faced with this question sooner or later, even outside this line of work. I'd like to think I'd have something inspiring to say; maybe something poignant. Unfortunately, when staring down the barrel of the gun, it is difficult for me to think with the eloquence of Macleod or the sentiment of Ms. Capone.

I'd like to think I'd be able to shout something meaningful to the love of my life: "I love you baby, and wish I had but one more day to share with you." But I fear what's more likely to come out of my mouth is something like "Oh Shit."

If I'm being honest though, I think everybody that knows me knows exactly what would come from my lips:

"Dr Pepper"

"If I live, I'll kill you. If I die, I forgive you." - supposedly the last words of an unknown Sicilian. I guess he didn't expect them to be his last words...

Personally, I'd tell a joke. No, I'd tell half a joke. Nothing worse than not hearing the punchline, right...

This makes you think doesn't it?
Report Post Tip
Listening to some of the other answers, nodding to some and chuckling to others, MacLeod looks at the young woman who began the discussion.

And what do you think you would say, Miss?
Report Post Tip
Probably something short. I don't do the long speeches and stuff, Their cool and all, but i don't do it much.

"Well, this isn't how i wanted to die."

"How about we have dinner over this?"

"Can i at least get a cigar?"
Report Post Tip
"Hey what the Fuck is that!!"

Then when he turns his head go for the gun!
Report Post Tip
"Not in the face - I'm too pretty."
Report Post Tip
Mostly people want the killer to feel like a idiot. lol
Report Post Tip
You blindly turn the tables around, kicking him to the ground, you feel around for his hands, grabs them and step on them, then you rip apart the thin rope around your wrists, and grab the scattered gun, holding it to his head

Don't move, or i'll smash your face into the ground

He complies, then you tie his hands, and pull him up

(Now what would you say to this man after you paint the floor with his blood?)
Report Post Tip
to the first part i would trick him and make him think its not loaded then when hes checking it take it and then shoot him
