New York fell today. Good people died. My father, for who I am named, passed in the first wave, Shot in his sleep. His wife, love and left hand died next to him, as they will be buried. 

A member of the loop Spoke as to the reasons behind their deaths, and while i am not pleased to lose them, It is the way of this life. upon my awaking today, a note was delivered to me by a confidant of my father. I believe that it is for some people he knew as well as for myself.

"To each of us is assigned a time to die. Today was mine. Mourn as you must, but always remember that in this life, You would have done the same to them. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and those who complain and threaten are no men of mine. As for myself, I congratulate those who out thought and out fought us. to new york, until we meet again, I Have never enjoyed anything more then working and making friends with you. Rest in peace."

I do not go in for revenge. It too often leads to more graves, and rarely the correct ones. To those my father worked with, Rest in peace. and to all of New york. 

It is time for a new beinning. and, as my Uncle toaly would have said, A new dawn.

Curtis listened to the young man speak and when he was done, he walked over and respectfully shook his hand.

"I respect the way you have reacted to what happened to your father. You speak with great dignity and strength of character. I did not know your father and although it may not have been the first wave of shots that killed him, he died with honour and class befitting a man of strong chatacter. His parting words to me as I leant over his body were also something I will not forget.

Handing the young man a business card, Curtis put a hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes. He appreciated the sincerity and strength he saw there.
