The general population going crazy over it will only make matters worse, it has only claimed 28 lives in Mexico I think. Why would it be worse here? Worst Case Scenario is people a couple of people die before they find a cure. Although one life is too many, I don't think it will be quite the epidemic that people may think it will be. It won't be any worse than Mad Cow Disease. |

I would worry about this, but I just don't have time. I'm too concerned with getting vaccinated for the Avian Bird Flu, SARS, Mad Cow Disease, E Coli from tomatoes and spinach, avoiding the anthrax scare, and duct taping my doors and windows to defeat the terrorists. Oh and watch out for those damn killer bees. They should be arriving from South America at any time now. Checks his wrist watch |

I just really don't give a fuck to be honest, media love to latch onto what is supposed to be some kind of epidemic. These days we can't eat anything or do anything without it killing us, then you have the terrorism then bird flu, mad cows disease and other stuff Butt_Ox mentioned, it's all a bit laughable really. I'll go on with my regular way of living and eat what I want as at the end of the day there's not a fat lot I can do about it short of locking myself up and living on bread and water. |

Whats the point of really bothering? If its not this they'll find something else a few months down the line which will be twice as bad as this and it'll be spread all over the tv to make people freak out and over-react. Lets face it who really cares? Its only the news people who care because they think we should know even though it probably wont even come anywhere near us of affect anyone we even know. |

The media will talk about anything that they think will sell. People are scared shitless over the economy and now this. If we would all turn off our TVs for a few days, we'll be alright. |

28 lives will turn into 96 96 lives will turn into 192 192 lives will turn into 384 First time I checked it was 101 and last time I checked it was 149! It is in the united states but no one has died with it there.It is because Mexico has rubbish medical systyms.I live in Scotland and two people have it here and on the news it says they are recovering fine and it said it is not so serious as it seemed. |
