Sitting down for what felt like the first time in 24 hours, Betty slumped into the chair, watching ThingOne pour her a delicious drink and ThingTwo take off her shoes and begin giving her a foot massage. War had taken its toll. Like riding the roughest of salty seas, it was turbulent, fierce and bloody (Clause's rotting body was no joke!) Replaying the scenes in her head, enemies dropping all around, alas, family and allies falling was never easy to watch, even with the sight of Satanta's big head flying past her, she never really liked death. |

Captious planted a kiss on BlackBetty's cheek while refilling her drink.

Curtis walked up to his dear friend and lifted her off the ground with a big hug. Putting her back down he smiled. "Well my dear it's one twisted roller coaster of misfortune, conflict and opportunity that has ended you up here. As you have observed things might not have moved in the most orthodox fashion but, however this has come about, it will be for the best. You are just what the teabag needs to compliment his attributes. You'll be grand." Hugging her again he goes back into the street. |

Scriba followed Curtis as he left the discussion and crowd surrounding Utopia, and shadowed him from a distance as he made his way to Black Betty standing outside her HQ. He kept himself in amongst the crowd as various Mafioso from Chicago and Philadelphia paid their respects for another go ahead in the wake of the most recent war. After finding an opportunity he felt confident in stepping forward to meet the new leader of Bam Ba Lam's. He enjoyed Utopia's celebratory mingling of the social elite and wanted nothing more than to join in on the occasion to congratulate another in the continual expansion of Philadelphia. The young man smiled and tipped his newly purchased fedora as he came face to face with the respected Mafiosa. He lingered a moment and made sure to shake her hand before disappearing back into the crowd. |

It's never nice when leadership is thrust upon someone in a time of flux and change, but when we reach a time that requires stability and damn hard work to rebuild the world around us.... it's great to see we have someone like you to help BlackBetty. Your work for Whatsername originally and later Tetley was remarkable. You got hard work done, grafted, did dull jobs behind the scenes without ever seeking praise or reward for them and did it all with a level of grace and joy that most of us couldn't manage on a good day. This selfless nature, ability to prioritise work flows and get what needs to be done done make you the type of candidate for leadership that this world needs every time. Your family needs will always come before your own or your friendships, which is the hallmark of every great leader. Best of luck with your new family BlackBetty. I'm excited and delighted to see just what you and your minions do for our world. Kudos ma'lady, kudus. |
