In the G1/G2 chats, it is relatively often that a link to a credit claiming page is dropped, so a person can get a free credit. Usually there is a scramble to get said credit but, unless something is said in the chat, then it's unknown if the credit was claimed or not without actually going in and checking. My suggestion is to add a thing to the credit claim page where, if a code has already been claimed, it says 'CLAIMED.'

It might actually slow down ones speed when going for the credit though. Needing to check if it says claimed or not would mess with my rhythm. Just going straight for it, regardless, doesn't do anything negative imo.

Unless it's like completely crossed out and a big bold text that is readily noticeable, or the whole screen is then greyed out so it's an automatic subconscious thing. That would work imo. Jut my 2 cents.

why not just have credits posted in G1 and G2 give the "congrats" message in G1 or G2 as opposed to IRC

Because when players post free credit codes then it doesn't post those messages at all. This makes it easier to tell.

if a player posts a free credit code in G! it says congrats in IRC DL, try it out
