A gentleman sits down on a bench and begins talking to anyone who will listen Over the past few day's we have seen an awful lot of bloodshed, to the outsider or by passer it must have looked like total chaos. People wearing new "Bold Suits" with out any announcement. Families going to war for what seems like no reason at all. What must have seemed like unbridled blood lust to some. This unfortunately is all part of war or "Going to the Mattress's" as they say. This happens every so often, it is to be expected and what we all live for (to serve our family and prove our loyalty in the most destitute of times). My younger brother lost his life early this morning doing just that. With his last breath he asked me to fill in for him, not leaving his family short by his loss. As I strolled through the street's, businesses and cemeteries stepping over bodies and listening to the winds and finally paying my respect's I became perplexed at some of the responses in Eulogy. If recall a tail from my lil bro, people were killed for supporting "Rogue" behavior even some for saying simply that they will miss said person or persons and to look them up upon their return. It was debated to a great length and pretty much beaten to with in an inch of a dead horse. I wish not to get into personal debate with any one person or group of people from those dusty old speeches. Instead I wish to get a feel from the community and our remaining leaders. If you can be killed for supporting the text book definition of a rogue, what of supporting someone who turned our streets red for no reason other than to bring some life to our world, or test their gun or boredom etc. can that person not be considered Rogue as well even if traditional Auth was granted at one time? Now understand I am of the belief that there is always a reason and nothing is random. We may not all agree on the reason or its validity but none the less it is there. Let's assume for instance that all of this madness over the past few days was not started from the unyielding defense of a wrong or moral difference etc. Lets assume it was started just for the hell of it, surely that would be a rogue action taken with an individual goal at the risk of the community as a whole. Would you not be as guilty for going to a funeral and wishing them well and praising their attempts, as you were for praising that of an outright rogue?

I think the important difference is that a ruthless leader who kills out of boredom still has the authority to do so. They are their own bosses; they make their own decisions, however bad they might be. What makes a rogue so abhorrent to Cosa Nostra is not what he does after he leaves the family, it is the act of leaving the family without permission in itself. Sure, the deaths the rogue may cause are unfortunate, but that is not why the rogue is hunted. The rogue is hunted for leaving the family without permission. As I'm sure you know, a mobster gives an oath of loyalty upon being Made. Breaking that oath is a death sentence. |

This is at least in my view simply not true, when you are given the gift of Auth it isn't to abuse that authority and do as you will hidden under the umbrella of "Auth". It is to run a Crew/Family/Sub Crew how ever your Authing boss terms such things under the same moral's and values that he does. You as a Crew Leader directly reflect the person who put that trust in you. |

| Thats the whole point, you shouldn't but you can because you are 'authed' to do so, the very fact you say someone is abusing their position implies that they are in the position to do it. | |
