Here's the deal: I'm bored with MR but I don't feel like giving my pistol a blowjob or having my family shoot me (again). And the thing I've always liked most in MR was the poker games. If you're a player you're bound to know my relentlessly irritating "100k poker?" recruiting sequence. So I thought I'd go out the way I lived: Playing poker.
Saturday the 9th of May at 15:00 server time I will hold a 10 man poker game. The buy-in for each player will be 100k. My own bet will be everything I have in the bank (currently $1,230,000), one Crackdown, and my life. That's right, the winner of the game gets to shoot me. Do not worry about my family because I will be kicked right after the game. At the time of the game I will probably be a Wise Guy with 0 ranges. Between now and the game I will be doing drug runs and regular 100k poker games to make my bank account bigger but I will not let it go under 1 million.
We will be holding the game on our regular MR poker server: http://www.outerrealm.org:8078/
If you are not present at 15:00 server time you will lose your spot and buy-in and anyone in IRC will be able to take your place.
I am aware that because of the recent massacre many regular poker players can't afford 100k. But if I've played you enough and I like you, you can reserve a spot and pay later. ;)
Also: If you wanna sign up, don't send me the money until I approve. If I haven't approved yet and you send me money then I'm keeping it and adding it to the pot.

This is stupid plain and simple. This will only cause problems if your life is on the line in this poker game because once the game over and done two people will die. The first person will possibly die because of his own rules and the other guy will die because he shot at a sponsored member. Last time I checked for all families that is breaking rules. |

Gene, it doesn't look like his crewleader has a problem with this as this speech has been up for quite some time and he's still alive. He did say that he'll be unsponsored as soon as the game is over, so it shouldn't be a problem that he's authorizing someone to wack him. |
