So for anyone that doesn't know yet, and I'm sure that's most because the details are way, way too embarrassing for those involved, earlier tonight Persian died at the hand of Godfather JimmytheLionHeart. Up and shot him, out of the blue. Poof. Tried to keep it secret, I'm sure because he knew no one in their right minds would stand for such a thing.
Now, that's certainly his prerogative if he wants to bear the consequences. But I do have one burning question about the situation. Chicago -- Nicky -- why aren't you at war? Why haven't you responded? Why is it that a lesser provocation has at this very moment sent another crew leader to war, and yet you sit and do nothing? All I see here is a do-nothing worse-than-leader who somehow managed to run away from everyone else enough times that he ranked to Godfather. Shame on you. You've been Godfather less than a week and you're already an embarrassment.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, though. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree, and this is the tree of former Don Hayley we're talking about. She had to be prodded by her LHM to join a war against someone that had released rogues specifically to shoot at her.
Ahh, quality leaders around here nowadays. Quality leaders. At they're good at killing people who point out how awful they are, or someone might get the idea that the entrenched powers right now don't have the foggiest idea what they're doing. |

The rank of godfather is something to be respected, but only when one lives up to the expectations of that rank. The_Abyss may have been the one to call out your RHM or LHM, but I can assure you, if I or Munchkin had been present along with your good self, we would happily have done the same right to your face.
A lot of respect that was once held has now been lost, at least I know that I can go down with dignity. More than can be said for some of those who will live on past this day. |

Im_On_A_Boat, you raise several valid questions, but unfortunately, some of them are based on faulty assumptions, some others are really not Nicky's place to answer, such why has your father's leader decided to take her Godfather to war.
As Godfather Lionheart already stated, they had a long talk behind closed doors, and noone else knows what took place in that meeting.
