I do have to say I agree with Cav. My xbox looks amazing on my 37" LCD HD... Consoles have surpassed PC, but some people refuse to admit it... So in short...Xbox 360 ftw |

Xbox 360. Now take a big treat of STFU and just agree with me, as you all know I'm right. Ps2 was the god amongst video game consoles, then the Ps3 came and it wasn't up to par as the first, they have a lack of awesome games and all they rely on is the fact that they run the Blu Ray and use amazing graphics. If you take those two things away it is nothing. Plus, the fact that PSN is shit compared to Xbox live. ;) PC would whoop them all, except it costs thousands to maintain and nearly every fucking month something new comes out that costs an extra $500 fucking dollars. It's just crazy, my xbox runs circles around my PC and that is saying something as it was awesome about four years ago. lulz. Wii is just Wii. This one is the biggest in sales, but that is mainly due to children and families. So... yeah... /end |

Joker, you are one of the few who can afford to waste a life savings on a great PC, don't pretend that the computer is awesome just because you were willing to cash out thousands on something that could easily be played on one of the consoles. Ps3 has superior graphics to about 80% of PC's. Hell, even Xbox probably owns a nice portion to that ratio, just due to its smaller size it can't really compete that well, but as I said... to a person who only uses the computer for normal use or just can't seem to afford a computer of that magnitude, the Xbox would probably be a better choice. I only use my computer for MMORPG's and RTS games. Those are the only two things that it is superior to, the Xbox controller is ten times easier to use than the keypad, granted the Ps3 controller is a bit on the meh side. Just, what would the AVERAGE person rather do? Spend crazy amounts of a gaming computer. We already know a gaming computer is miles past the consoles, it's just that most people can't afford a gaming computer. This is what PC gamers always tend to forget, they get so wrapped up in their thousand dollar machine that they thing everyone should use it, as it is the most sensible to use... but, the fact is, it isn't that most people think that consoles are better than the PC. It is more that people can't AFFORD the great PC. Spend $400-600 on a Ps3 for great graphics and okay games + Blu-Ray - This would probably be the best choice if you are going to be using your system for more multimedia usage, as it is awesome in the movie and music department, it just lacks a bit in the actual gaming zone. Still is probably the best choice if you're looking for something close to the PC. As some of its games just have breathtaking graphics. Spend $200-400 on an Xbox for good graphics and tons of games + HD - This would be the most sensible buy if you want to have plenty of games to choose from, and don't really mind if you can't watch movies that well thanks to the loud noises. * So, yeah, like I said... I've probably taken too much time (Around 10 minutes) explaining myself, but yes, the computer is a great quality system for gaming, just costs loads. I'd much rather pay four times less and enjoy my xbox than buy elite graphics card and such. * Noise has been greatly reduced in the Elite. It's just the Pro and below that suffer from that tragedy. |

I might also add that PC lacks many significant "killer apps". They have Crysis, and a handful of other shooters, RTS games, and the more popular MMOs. Only the shooters really use the great graphics ability of a gaming rig. And a majority of them are on console and just as good. :\ |

| Mine runs 1080i...never seen any difference between 1080i or 1080p so aint worried about upgrading but I do want that new LED LCD from Samsung. Also the bigger the picture the weaker the quality. stretchy stretchy. | |
