You win the lottery of ten million dollars and your going to have some contractors build you a house what would you have in it and why?
First off, I'll put all the money in a savings account for one year to almost double my money then I'd built a house with the following:
Gym with trainer(So I could work out)
Lots of windows(So I could see the sun shine in and I like to have sun and lights off anyway)
Huge open country style kitchen
Soccer field(Football in the UK, all weather field on part of the roof)
Bathroom on each floor(all bathroom doors are sliding doors)
Garage(With a nice hybrid car and driver)
Stereo System(with the speakers in the ceilings in all the rooms so I could be anywhere in the house and hear the music)
Deck that goes around the house(with a hot tube on too and deck doors are all auto opening doors)
Entertainment Room(with a big TV, nice couch, popcorn maker DVD player, all the top tech for TV)
I'll also have a nice big yard for the Chinese Pug I would buy and a trampoline. All energy having appliances and I wouldn't need the power company. I'll have solar panels for power, an extra small room for extra power if needed. Of course maids and yard keepers.
Everything like TV, computer, Internet would be wireless, they would have a base like wireless Internet.
With the money lift over I'll put in a savings account and donate some to kids that can't afford to play sports and pay for them and live off the interest. As living off the interest I'll not have to work but take up hobbies like besides the gym I'll still be cooking for people once in a while and be a couch of a local soccer(football in UK) team of teens that play for fun and travel with them to play the sport in Europe and stuff. |

personally I wouldn't go hog wild. I would buy a nice size house, preferably one of those nice 4-5 bedroom houses. Each kid would have their own room, I would have a pool and a large yard to play in, the kids college would be paid for, I would sell off the ford freestar I have and finally get myself a shelby cobra...no ok more practical lol I would get myself a nice fuel efficient car that can hold 2 car seats. I would definatly move out of So Cal but I would stay in California. Um I would insist that my kitchen have a state of the art island with the kind of convection oven my parents have. Oh yeah and I would be able to stay home instead of working my butt to the bone! |

Roger, your not going to double your money in a years time with 10million. Personally, I'd take 1-2 million and buy a large piece of property... 1000+ acres with a lake on it. Then build so the lake is what you look at the first thing in the morning...
After that, I'd hire a knowing individual and grow herbs... (Not pot you idiots) but there are some herbs, like basil, orango etc, that do well. Put some animals together etc.
After that, I would build a windmill, (They run about 5million and double your money in 10 years) So that I had a stable income, and free power :) |

Ten million eh? I tell you what I'd buy.
A 1969 GTO, and a small little dodge dakota. A six bedroom, three floor house with central heating/air, I'd probably donate half a million to some weird fund or another(to look nice,) and then I'd retire... and never have to worry about money again. |

After I bought the cars id definatley have to buy the garage for it. So id buy a garge thatd fit all my cars. Than I would buy a decent sized house. 6 bedroom house. than twoof those rooms id make a gym and a game room. Donate about 2 million dollars. Than invest the rest of it |
