I was curious to see what brought you guys and gals to this wonderful game. Where did you hear about Mafia Returns and why did you decide to stay?  The Browser List voting site brought me here actually. I used to play another text-based Mafia game called Assassinators.net, but the game was lacking many things to make it interesting, one of which was the lack of players on the site. Everyday, we had the chance to vote for Assassinators in return for money or bullets. Then I saw Mafia Returns at the top of the list and I read the description of it. I was intrigued and decided to try it out. The reason I stayed is because I find that the game is well organized, the staff are always implicated and my favorite part is that of the structure of the Families. For example, the idea of serving under a Godfather or a leader was a nice idea that I liked. 

An article in FHM over 12 years ago eventually brought me here.

Me too Chris, me too. That FHM article was responsible for a lot of people joining at the time.

I specifically searched for a role-playing game about 8 or so years ago, maybe more. I can't remember the particulars, yet I stumped onto this game from that searching, after having played a few others at the time. This was my initial way of finding out about it and signing up, then about 3 months ago, I decided to return due to RL being less hectic and allowing me more time for gaming and writing, and here I am.

A friend brought me here, got mad at me twice, abandoned me, then got himself killed.

Mafia.org players brought me here

Same as Valium. Played .Org off and on for 8-9 years or so. Some of my friends got me to try it out here.
