Mac eyes begin to stream as the place he has called home for most of his old life casts him out. Of course there were reasons, of course there were good reasons, it didn't change anything. Mac still had to hold out the wind, man up and walk the long road from the castle through the dark cold night. When the Godmother had first called him in for a meeting, Mac presumed it would be for normal cup of tea and scones we were becoming so fond of in the castle. Instead, when he walked in, Marietta was sitting behind her large wooden desk, going through some papers, barely even noticing his arrival. Not in the best of moods again it seemed...no scones for Maccy. "Excuse me Boss, you were looking for me?" "I was indeed Mac, I've got a problem" the Godmother replied. "We got some issues down in the city that need looking after, and I need you to sort them out for me" Mac couldn't even get a word out as the Godmother continued... "This means leaving the castle Mac, it means becoming a captain of Detroit, but as with all these things, with more responsability, comes more rewards. I need you to educate the young, bring some more money into town" Mac, stood and listened as the Godmother explained all the things she needed done in the city, nodding slowly all the while. He had become used to the cozy atmosphere inside the castle....too cozy and he was going to have to think seriously over the next couple of seconds as to whether this would be something he'd still be able to do, after all it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks... Marietta had stopped talking and was now watching him...closely "Well" she said, "you expect me to wait on an answer forever?" Mac's mouth dried up, he could only get one word out "Ok." "Good, well, you'd better start thinking of a name for your new family" "It's ok, I already have one...We'll be called 'Retribution' |

Sammy walks up to the celebration clapping his hands. His hair in a slight disarray and wearing dark shades Sammy makes his way through the crowd, trying not to bump into too many people. Those who he did run into stared after him with a glaring look, apparently being drunk in public was no longer the fashion. "Congratulations Mac, it should be a pleasant experience working alongside you. Our ancestors have been in contact on and off forever it seems, they would be proud."
