After a long week of back and forth trips from New York to Mississippi. Floyd, who at one point thought he could let the bottle go, has been driven back to the Moonshine. Picking up a barrel on his lastest trip back home. See Ole Floyd's been working his azz off constantly handling orders for the boss. See Floyd's from a small town down off the back-roads of Mississippi called ColdWater. They say it's a good area for fishing, if you know what I mean, but lately the river, lakes, and ponds have been under constant survellience by the FBI and all branches of law enforcement. So, guess who Don Premier sticks the dirty work too??? Yeah you got it! Ole Floyd! On his latest trip down to Mississppi, Floyd stops to reflect on why he's in this line of work: *driving down the back-road, listening to some old country western music, Floyd pulls over to a wooded area right off the roadside on the out-skirts of Coldwater* *considering there's no street lights in towns like these, Floyd turns the high-beams on his 1930's Ford Pick-ups as he turns off the road and heads down into the woods* *hops out his truck and lets the bed door down* *grabbing his shovel, takes the other hand and pulls one body off, CLUMP!* *reaches and pulls another, CLUMP!* *thinking to himself, "If these damn goombas and earners would recognize who they're talking to before they speak"* Damn-it!! *CLUMP* *CLUMP* *CLUMP* *Floyd stacks the bodies on top of eachother and begans digging a hole, then stops and starts reflecting* *leaning against the truck* *pulls out the Moonshine, looks at it long and hard, and takes a swig* This is a family, a business, a lifestyle! What are my main motives in this life? *Floyd ask himself, then thinks I mights as well respond* 1) I joined this life for the same reason we all do at first glance, money! Money makes you happy, but only for a short. *Floyd takes another swig and lites a cig* 2) A legacy, my father died for something he believed in and wasn't afraid to speak on. I want to die in that same light, so that may son can look at my life and learn to make better of certain situations like I learned from my pops. A legacy, worth dieing for! *throws one body in the hole* 3) Respect!! Ow, everyone wants respect, even these little bastards I had to drive all the way down here to drop off! Only thing is, you have to earn respect by showing respect to those that deserves these acknowledgements. Long story short, respect those who've busted their balls so that young punks can have a stable family to join! *takes a swig of Moonshine and throws all the other body in the hole* 4) Last, but not least, one of my main reasons is LOYALTY! It's that loyalty I have to Don Premier that makes me take these long drives, just to handle the dirty work. See it's that LOYALTY, that shows you what being a true mobster is about. It's that loyalty, that makes me drop everything when Don Premier needs something urgent to be done (even if it's just taking his cloths to the cleaners). It's that LOYALTY, that help me understand that this mob life is bigger than me and I'm just a piece to the puzzle. *Floyd feels a charge of energy and takes pride in being just a piece of the puzzle and not trying to be the big picture itself* *cover the bodies and hops back in the truck heading back toward New York* Those are my Mob Motives, I have a reason to be here and soon enough you'll all see the big picture! *drives fast so that he can make it in time to clean Don Premier's office utensils* |
