Dean walks out of his HQ and takes a stroll down the Vegas Strip. He tips his hat as he goes past Apollo's Shiny HQ, Apollo retires from his morning paper and waves back to Deano. Deano turns the corner and stops at the local coffee shop and orders his daily shot of caffeine. While waiting for his coffee, a young street punk comes up and confronts Deano with a request. Hey! Can I have a bunch of money, so I can get rich quicker and possibly hire some bodyguards to protect me? Deano sighs heavily and sets his folded newspaper on the counter and quickly delivers a straight right into the young punks face. Deano's Bodygaurds grab him and drag him into an alley out of view of the public. Listen here you little street urchin, piece of shit! You approach ME? Without so much as a hello or salutations and ask for money? ME, a crewleader ,AND upstanding member of our community for MONEY? And for no better reason that you want to fast track it to the top and put as little effort into your life as possible? You type of people make me wanna puke! Deano motions for his bodyguards to release the punk. Deano grabs him and starts to drag him into the middle of the street. Once there Deano raises his voice to be heard and starts to gather an audience. Good morning ladies and gentlemen of Las Vegas. Tis a lovely day today, or at least it started that way. You see, over the past few days, everytime I go out in public I am approached by street scum. They all want the same thing. MONEY! Money so they don't have to work so hard, money so they can sit back and take it easy and money just to have it. I know for a fact that I am not the only person this happens to. Begging for money is something that irritates me worse than sand in my speedos. It shows laziness and to top it off, if you are in another family; it shows disrespect to your leader. It says that your leader can't take care of his own. So today, I am putting my foot down. I suggest you don't come begging for money. Not only to me but anybody else. Earn your way to your goals and ambitions. Don't let someone else buy the way for you, as it cheapens the whole deal. Deano grabs the street scum by the collar and pulls out his .45. He fires a shot into his temple and lets the body fall to the ground. He motions for his bodyguards to clean up the mess and then heads over to grab his paper and coffee ( which is now cold as fuck) |

Mr. Deano, It certainly is a disrespectful slap in the face. I share your feelings, I, just yesterday, had a similar experience with a former short time member of my family. To make matters worse, after I stripped this disrespectful individual of his Goomba rank and stripped my family crest from him, I actually pulled my gun out to send him swimmin', when my gun malfunctioned. Shit. FML. I got to tell you, it was a bit embarrassing to attempt to teach someone a lesson, just to have it blow up in your face. (Thank you ForkRourke for taking care of that issue for me.) Just thought I would share my experience with you to just let you know, it could have been worse. |

| I agree, I am not a cl or anything, but still quite often people I have never met will message me to start a conversation with me just to end it 5 minutes late with a "Now will you send me a mil man?" and no doesn't even work on a lot of these fools.. they will keep asking and asking. The last person that did this wasn't even from Detroit let alone my family! Its pretty ridiculous.. | |

Money makes the world go round. It seems that those who cannot provide for themselves often attempt to sway the money away from those who can. Anyone who does this in such a disrespectful way should be shot. It is not wrong to ask politely for money and accept no as an answer - provided it is your place to be asking the person in question - but to be out asking someone who has money for their money for nothing is extremely disrespectful. I am willing to part with a few dollars, but only as an investment. Never as pure charity. Those who abuse such generosity are dealt with and remembered well. It is just another factor of the growing animosity of the new blood to our shores. I pray that with enough guidance we can turn these would be mafioso into actual mafioso, instead of street beggars and petty thugs that a majority of them tend to be. Not that there are not exceptions, but our way of life is in a definite influx of activity and many of us are experiencing growing pains. Straightens his tie and checks his watch for the time. |

| I agree with you. People are getting lazy. Money is probably the second most important thing in this game. First is role playing. People should work hard to earn the money. If money is requested by someone, it should be politely and respectfully. | |

Listening on the conversation, Sly finishes the last remnants of his cigar, and then throws the thing into the trash. Second? I thought it was THE most important thing in our world. Long story short, money equals power. How much power you (And your CL) have would mean the difference between life and death. I reckon you wouldn't be able act out the things you want when your dead amirite? Would you give a new guy you barely even trust five million dollars just because he asked very politely and respectfully? That would be bollocks. Gets a new cigar from his jacket and goes on his business. |
