It was early morning and Grosso was walking through the streets of Detroit, he had just flown in from Philadelphia. trying to figure out why he had flown to Detroit to begin with he searches for a place where he can get a good cup of coffee.

Looking around the streets he finally see's a sigh that read: the Detroit Coffee Shop. Figuring this would be a good place to get coffee he walks inside and walks towards the counter and asks the cashier.

"Could I have a medium Columbia Supremo please? Oh and could you add two donuts please?"

Giving the cashier $20, Grosso tells the cashier to keep the change

While waiting for his coffee Grosso is still trying to figure out what business he had planned he.

Deep in his thought he hears the cashier yell:

"One medium Columbia Supremo and two donuts"

Grosso walks towards the counter, takes his order and gives the cashier a thank you nod. He walks towards the door in search of a place to sit. 

Spring was already here before she knew it.  Rose had traded in her wool over coat for a light fabric Chanel suit, and made her way to get something to wake her up for the day ahead.  The recent move and excitement had drained her a little bit.  As she reached for the door for one of her favorite coffee shops here in Detroit, Rose was surprised to recognize a fellow family member approaching.

Enoch_Thompson had his head down deep in thought, and didn't notice Rose standing there just yet as she waited by the door.  The weather was nice, so she waited outside still.  The aromas floating through the door as people entered and left were intoxicating.

"Well good morning Enoch.  How are you this morning?"

Nucky slowly looked up to the familiar voice he heard saying "hello".

"Good Morning Rose, I'm very well.  I have had a very busy morning, and decided to stop in for a coffee. How are you?"

Nucky reaches for the door allowing Rose to enter first as he spoke.

"Would you like a coffee?"

"Oh, I am doing quite well.  Just a little tired catching up from the move and all."

Right before she could answer his question, a friendly waitress was at their table to take her order.

"Actually coffee sounds heavenly.  This one of my favorite places to visit in Detroit."

Turning to the waitress, Rose didn't have to think about what she wanted or look at a menu.

"I would like a large House Blend, an egg and sausage sandwich, and 5 cookies, but I need the cookies to go please."

Rose turns back to her companion with a slow smile.

"So how are things going for y'all with the move?  Is it lonely without Astro and Sasha?"

Turning to the waitress, after looking at the menu.

"I'll have a bacon and egg sandwich and a coffee please."

Nucky turns back to Rose to answer her question.

"Not too bad. Lynchy made me a temp Left hand while we get things sorted. Not at all though I kinda miss them spitting at me.  You get used to it after a while. Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?"

"Not really.  Just aching to relax for one day.  Shawn-Raje was going to create another painting of Sasha and Astro for our new Headquarters, so he stayed home this morning to get started.  I'm supposed to bring cookies home for a reward."

Smiling as she thought about Shawn trying to keep Sasha still enough to paint her, Rose let a soft giggle escape.

"Well that's the plan anyways.  A painting.  I thought about getting a couple gifts for Don Lynchy and Utopia- to get them settled into calling their Headquarters 'home'."

Their coffee and breakfast had arrived shortly, and the coffee was the first thing Rose reached for.  Taking a slow sip, and sighing with appreciation, Rose looks back to the waitress with a smile and 'thank you'.

"Now this hits the spot.  What about you?  Any big plans set?"

"Cookie charge nice.  That saves a few dollars."

Nucky reaches for his coffee while saying " Thank you" to the waitress.

"Breakfast and coffee great way to finish my busy morning. Nope not really just doing a few drug runs, and petty crimes to earn a little for the boss. Starting off can take a while, and is a little hard so just want to help any way I can."

Nucky picks up his sandwich, and takes a huge bite out of it spilling egg yolk all over his shirt.

"Damn now I gotta go get a new shirt." Looking down and wiping up the mess he just made.

Hiding her smile by taking another sip of her House Blend, Rose was thankful it wasn't her spilling things so early in the morning.  This new Chanel suit would not look pretty with coffee or food stains.

"We have quite alot of business planned since before the move, and now things should fall into place nicely."

Rose finishes off the last couple bites of her breakfast sandwich as the waitress brought the bag of cookies and bill.  Rose reached for the bill with fast reflexes and chuckled as Enoch shook his head trying to refuse.

"It's my treat.  Call it a small celebration of many to come as our family grows and prospers."

Rose barely glanced at the total, and placed a generous amount with tip as usual.  She leaned back in her chair drinking more of her coffee as she waited for her companion to finish eating as well.

Nucky too busy stuffing his face food with the last of breakfast while Rose pays for the bill.

"Thank you my friend, but you shouldn't have. I should be paying for you."

Nucky drinks more of his coffee while looking over at Rose.

"Where are you going from here?  I must go get a new shirt before my flight back to Philly."

Waving off the comment, Rose just smiled.

"Hey I'm in a fabulous mood, so let's not worry about money."

Finishing off the rest of her coffee with a satisfied sigh, Rose reaches for the bag of cookies then stands up.

"It was great catching up with you Enoch.  We will definitely have to do this again soon."

"Nothing much at the moment.  Gonna run these cookies back to the hotel for Sasha and Astro, and see if Shawn-Raje is ready to go shopping for those gifts."

Chuckling softly, she realized she said 'home' earlier, when they are in fact at a hotel.  Sighing softly.  Being with Shawn just has that effect on her, and anywhere they are together feels like 'home'.

Nucky having finished his coffee stands up to put on his jacket. Looking down, he hoped his suit jacket covers up the food stain on his shirt till he gets to the shop.

"Thanks for breakfast and the chat. We must do this again sometime maybe in a different city." Winking at Rose.

"Let's go.  Things to do before the flight." Nucky heads for the door, and holds it open for Rose.

Trying to stay awake IllFated went to the infamous Downtown's Coffee Shop to get a quick wake up as he had much business to attend to. He got in line waiting to place his order. Waiting there he began to day dream in a daze the attendant had to get his attention.

"Sir, can I help you?" said the attendant 

"Yeah I need something strong, I need to wake up and snap out of it. What do you suggest?"

 Ill asked than the two chatted about different options he had for maximum caffeine intake. Finally coming to a conclusion the attendant made him a double espresso cappuccino. Ill paid for his drink and walked to a table like a zombie sipping on his concoction. After a few minutes he began feeling the caffeine kick in. Taking a look down in his cup he noticed it was getting empty fast. He got up and head back over to the counter and said.

"Let me get another one of them for the road. Exactly the same way you made the last one."

Nucky having just arrived in Detroit and pulled of an Art gallery Heist with the help of his godfather Archy, decided to take a break from business and go for a cup of coffee. With this in my mind Nucky noticed that he was across the street from where he had met Rose the last time that he was in Detroit. "that'll do nicely" he thought to himself.

Upon crossing the road and entering the establishment, Nucky sat where he sat the first time he quickly glanced at the menu as the waitress was already at the table.

"Good day, I would like a cup of coffee please." The waitress quickly wrote the order down.

"May i have a bacon and egg sandwich as well please. I had one the last time i was here and it was lovely"

Archy was on a business trip to Detroit, Nucky had called him to help with an art gallery heist, he did his part and they pulled the heist pretty swiftly, upon finishing the two went on seprate roads, Archy had afew things to take care of and a few dealers to meet up with and sort the delivery he received by his friend from the feds. After finishing all his business Archy felt in a dire need of a cup of coffee, he made his way through the streets of downtown Detroit where he knew he could find a lot of coffee-shops, he passed by a few shops, till he reached the doors of "Downtown's coffee-shop", the name ringed a bell, it was the place @Rose-Raje and @Enoch_Thompson had told him about earlier.

"I might find Nucky lurking in here"

Archy thought to himself as he pushed the door open and walked inside, looking around the place, he found Nucky sat at one of the tables in the corner, Archy smiled and walked towards him.

"I thought I'd find you here. Mind if I took a seat?"

Nucky was very welcoming with a nod, so Archy just sat and smiled at him, then turned to the waitress.

"Can I have a cup of coffee too please?"

"Anything else, sir?" asked the waitress

"No, thank you"

Archy then turned to Nucky.

"I see you already found a way to waste your freshly earned money, eh?"

Archy chuckled waiting for a reply

Nucky chuckled at the remark that Archy had just made.

"Not really.  It's a good cup of coffee, and even better breakfast sandwich. You should get one.  I'll pay for you boss."

Nucky signals the waitress.

"Please get Archy a bacon and egg sandwich.  I'm not sitting eating on my own.  I met up with Rose at the door; we grabbed this table, and she should be right back. How's business Archy?  You keeping busy?"

While taking a drink of coffee, Nucky sat thinking it's been a while since he had ordered his own sandwich.

Archy smiled feeling grateful at his friend's offer.

"Business has been good to be honest, it's been a while since we had a raid from the feds, I made some cash on the heist you planned earlier, then I paid a visit to a local dealer I've known for a while and got rid of some of my agents coke."

Archy smiled as the waitress arrived with his breakfast.

"Thanks that does look delicious."

He took a bite off his sandwich enjoying the taste of the freshly made bacon

"hmm... Thanks a lot Nucky for that sandwich it does make a great breakfast."

he took another bite off his sandwich then continued

"So business has been booming on my end, what about you? How's the slanties feeling?

Returning to the table after making a quick phone call, Rose saw her Godfather Archy sitting with Enoch_Thompson.  She had mentioned running into Enoch the other day to her Godfather, and described the delicious coffee the place had.

"Godfather Archy!  What a pleasant surprise to see you here.  Glad you could join us."

Rose smiled as she took her seat.  She always enjoyed seeing her Godfather.

"Enoch and I were just about to order.  I'm not very hungry this morning, but the coffee is fabulous here."

"You really should get something to eat Rose-Raje, especially if you gonna be busy all day. Just earning what I can, and helping set up costs a lot of coin.  They're all great Godfather, makes me feel important."

Nucky grabs his sandwich, and takes a huge bite of his sandwich. He looks down at his shirt as he hears Rose giggle.

"Damn not again. It's just my luck every time I eat here I manage to make a mess of my nice clean shirt."

Nucky grabs a napkin and tries to wipe the yolk off his shirt.

Just as she was waving to the waitress walking by, Rose noticed yet another shirt pretending to be a blank canvas for yolk art.  The thought made her giggle, and signal the waitress to please come to their table.  Rose tried speaking without laughing, but the amused look on her face never left.

"Yes ma'am.  What can I get for you?"

"I would like a large House Blend coffee please.  Also, could we get a few more napkins?"

"Yes ma'am right away."

Rose began to giggle louder as she looked towards the stained white shirt, then up to meet Enoch's eyes.

"You know Enoch.  I think it might be wise from now on when we meet here, you bring an extra shirt."

Beaming a mischievous smile, Rose turned towards her Godfather seeing his silent laughter.

"Hahaha Rose."

Nucky gives a Rose a funny look.

"Maybe I should though, instead of having to buy a new shirt every visit here."

Nucky uses a napkin to rub the yolk.

"Excuse me waitress. Can I have a glass of water please?"

The waitress smiled, and returned quickly with napkins and water.

"There you go sir."
