Memoirs of a Hitman, Part 3 Started by: Prophet on May 18, '09 19:49
Will wakes up the next morning to the bright sun in his eyes. He sits up, puts on his shoes, and walks downstairs. As he walked downstairs, he heard a voice.

"WILL!!!"

Will stumbled back for a moment, clutching the gun hidden in the window. He turned the corner to find Charlie, an old friend of his. He places the gun back in its place, and walks downstairs.

"Hello Charlie. Interesting seeing you here. Since... This is my house. Any reason for your visit?"

"Boss told me you were putting together a team for the Silviano job. BIG money. I was thinking about being one of your gunmen, til I saw your little note. Expendable?"

"Yeah... I was drunk last night. You can't hold drunk scribblings against old friends, can ya?"

Charlie sets the note down back on the table and smiles. He sits down in Will's old chair, and leans back.

"So, you need some men. Let me help you out."

Will goes back upstairs, gets dressed, and returns. He grabs his coat, the one he took to meet the boss, and heads out with Charlie. The two get into Charlie's brand new car. Nice, clean finish, soft seats, it was a nice car. Looks like he found his getaway car. The two drove past a few places, each belonging to a different explosives expert. You could see the small puffs of smoke behind the house. As they drove, a sudden blast came from behind one of the huts. Will grabs the door handle and gets out of the car, running from the tremors. Once finished, a small french man comes out from behind his abode to greet them.

"The name's "Jac". I would tell you my French name, but you would just butcher it."

He had a strong, cocky french accent. He seemed to be familiar with American culture, too.

"I need a bomb guy. 4-Inch walls. You up to it?"

"Pay?"

"$250,000."

"Sure."

Will hands the paper to Charlie, as he scratches off the Explosives listing. They found their guy, and he came pretty damn cheap, too. Next, the gunmen. Usually, gunmen weren't hard to find. They just needed young bloods, ready to fire at anything that moves. Charlie informs him that a small Sicilian gang broke up, and most of the gunmen went freelance. Two brothers, Alex and Brock, were two of their best. They drive to the gunmens' house, finding a small target range in the back yard. "They seem nice."

A short, stalky man approaches them and gives them and announces their services. "We do jobs by the hour. $250k an hour, that is." Will turns to Charlie, who nods and hands him a small case. Will hands the case to the man, and the two shake hands.

"We also have a cousin in town, a great sniper, if you need one."

Will smiles, and tosses them another case. They both chuckle a bit, then exit. Charlie fills them in on the details, and they both get in the car, and drive back to the House. Here they plan their hit. But not today, no, they can't get too excited today. They go to the bar and relax, trying to work everything out in their alcoholically-inflicted brains. They work up a 'plan', and head home. Charlie crashes on the couch, and Will nods of to sleep while reading an old book.
