Whilst walking down the streets of the Windy City, DonPetty notices an elderly gentleman being shoved out of the way by some young punks. After seeing this he decides it is time to make a speech, so he walks over to the nearest car and jumps onto it. He then calls all ears to his attention Hello fellow mafioso, this is the first time any of you have ever heard from me. I will not waste too much of your time, hopefully. I wish to speak on the topic of respect. In the old days, respect was earned, not given. The punks nowadays feel that respect should be handed over on a silver platter. Honestly, this kind of bums me out. It makes me feel as if everything we worked hard for in Sicily has gone to waste. As if these Americans have thrown all rules out the window. In these streets you must earn respect from your families, your fellow mafioso and the gods themselves. I have been in these streets far too long to see them fall apart because of some young punks. I myself used to be one of these punks, although I have grown up and at least attempted to become a valuable member to this society. With that, I bid you farewell, Good luck to all young mafioso out there, show respect and maybe you will gain something out of life. Feeling satisfied, DonPetty hops off the car and walks into a dark alley whistling an old melody |

It's nice to see your face out here, DonPetty. The more speeches you make, the more comfortable you will get doing it. As far as these disrespectful punks you are talking about, they always get what is coming to them. It's not really anything new, either. The amount of disrespectful punks seems to ebb and flow over time. The one thing that is consistent is that they always get a bullet in their ass for their efforts. |

This is true Butt_Ox. However, my question to you and the community is this: Is that enough? Although,I will agree, killing the disrespectful mafioso does prove a point. I simply believe there should be a more severe punishment for disrespect. When you kill a mafioso, his family members should understand that disrespect will not be tolerated. They should know not to do it again. The reason I speak of the younger mafioso is that most of the time, disrespect comes from them. I mean once, maybe twice, is fine. Once the cross the line, however, something more severe should be done. The idea has been whirring in my head for a few days now. I will most certainly be making more speeches and have more street presence as I grow older. Thank you for listening to my speech and giving it some thought. |

The thing is, the people that don't give the respect, and don' try to earn it quite simply don't get anywhere. And i see your point about people who don't learn their lesson, but the truth of the matter is if their family line doesnt learn from their forefathers mistakes, then they will come to the same demise as their predecessors. V. |

Honestly those are the people who are known though, the ones who make it clear what they expect from people in this world." Something more severe than death? Well, I suppose we could institute torture. I'd be happy to be in charge of it. As far as them doing it again, if they are dead, you won't have to worry about that. |
