No Luck For The Irish Started by: TonyCapazzo on Feb 17, '15 23:25

Tony Capazzo exited the LUX night club, he was with Frankie the assistant manager of the club and Nicky, his new hired associate who served also as a bodyguard to Tony. The three men walked toward Tony's gold Auburn Speedster parked in the alleyway. Frankie was telling Nicky about a story at the racetracks.

"Nicky you wouldn't believe it. I look down at the ticket and son of a bitch. I nearly shit myself."

Nicky laughed and Frankie bent over laughing hardly, retelling the story of when him and Tony went to the horse track.  The two men joked around as Tony just shook his head and smiled. It was a good day, it was nice to take a break from the crazy and hectic lifestyle he was a part of and was glad his men could enjoy a bit of it as well. They neared the car in the dark alleyway and waited for Tony to open it up. He reached for his car keys and suddenly a person appeared out of nowhere.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE FELLA!"

Tony, Nicky and Frankie all looked up to the mysterious figure. They were uncertain who it was, Tony tried to sway a little to the side but couldn't manage to see the face. Then the person took a step away from the dark and a bit into the light. Tony looked at the man and then smiled.

"TONY, You think this is funny fella? You son of a bitches think you own this town do ya?"

Tony stood there watching the Irishman turn red with anger. He knew exactly who this was, it was Drew O'Brien. Tony knew him well but more importantly why he was here. No doubt this had to do with the shootout earlier this month. Scarfo and one of his men had gunned down Drew O'Brien's cousin and a associate of his. Drew's cousin was a Capo within the Irish mob but Scarfo had made the right call and had protected the business of Tony Capazzo, the Premiere Cinemas. Tony knew Drew O'Brien was here, pissed and probably out for revenge yet he wasn't phased by any of this. He remained his normal, cool, calm and collected self as he spoke.

"Drew..pleasure to see you."

Tony smiled and tipped his lime green ribboned fedora to Drew. This further enraged Drew.

"You smug arse! You think this is a game? You people think you can just waltz in here and do what you please? We've been North side for a long time and now it's time we make moves into South Philly, a lot of untapped potential here in the South. But fella, that's business. This here....THIS HERE...this is all personal."

Drew pulled out a gun, Nicky quickly attempted to charge at Drew however Tony put a hand on his shoulder holding him back. Nicky stood in front of Tony. Frankie was to the side and a bit out in front of Tony but still behind Nicky. Nicky was a tall well built man, his frame had easily covered that of the smaller Tony and Frankie. Tony looked at Drew's gun and without fear pulled out a cigar. He lit it and took a puff his eyes not once leaving the gun.

"Drew, I advise you to put away that gun of yours."

Tony tried to diffuse the situation carefully and to make sure none of his people were put in any further danger but Drew began to wield his gun about and was clearly overly emotional.

"No FUCK YOU TONY CAPAZZO. Fuck you and fuck the South Philly Phoenix. You fuckers think you can kill whom you please? Huh? My cousin was a well respected, well appreciated person and he was gunned down like some fuckin animal that was being hunted....For no god damn reason!"

Tony took another puff of his cigar and when Drew was finished he replied.

"Drew, you do realize that cousin of yours was about to enter MY movie theatre and shoot up the place, right?"

Drew laughed at Tony.

"Yeah, so what Tony? It's about time someone show you pieces of shit what happens when you cross the wrong type of people. This thing between us and you guys ends NOW, I am going to finish the job. No more bullshit from you, your finished. Scarfo will be next and that pissant boss of yours, Latin will soon follow"

Tony bit down hard as Drew started to disrespect his Don Latin and also his friend Scarfo. Very few things unraveled Tony but disrespecting his boss and family was something you just shouldn't ever do. Tony wanted to make sure he heard right.

"What was that Drew?"

Drew held his gun in the air and yelled this time.

"YOU HEARD ME, THAT PISSANT BOSS OF YOURS!"

Tony nodded and threw his cigar on the floor.

"Ah Drew, that's what I thought you said."

Drew held the gun toward the three men and put his hand on the trigger. He was done talking and it was now time for action. Tony looked at him in his eyes and the Irishman looked Tony back into his with a ice cold stare. Tony then uttered just two words that would change the course of this event.

"Do it."

With that Nicky took a lunge at Drew. Drew O'Brien fired a shot but completely missed everyone around him. By this time Nicky had wrestled him to the floor. The gun flew out of Drew's hand and Frankie ran over to pick it up. Nicky held Drew down on the floor and pinned Drew's hands down with his knees. He looked over to Tony for further instructions and all Tony did was a upward nod. Nicky nodded back and began laying left and right punches into the Irishman. Punch after punch was thrown and knuckles could be heard connecting with bone. The Irishman groaned in pain but Nicky didn't let up. Tony lit up another cigar and turned to Frankie.

"Go make the call."

Frankie nodded and ran back towards the direction of the LUX. Tony finished lighting up his cigar, he stood there and watched over as Nicky mercilessly beat Drew into a bloody pulp. Tony stood there and smiled as if he had a ice cold veins and a black heart. Nicky didn't stop one bit but instead doubled the onslaught. Drew was barely moving at this point, he laid next to a puddle of his own blood. Nicky had rearranged his face and Drew wasn't even noticeable anymore. Nicky got up and looked at his messy blood filled suit. He began to kick Drew in the back of the head.

"You fucker, this is a expensive suit. You cocksucker you!!"

Nicky drove three size 16's into the head of Drew. Just then tires were heard screeching and coming around the corner. A few seconds later a white van pulled up. The side door slid open as Nicky looked up. Tony slowly made his way up to the bloodied body. He squatted down still puffing away on his cigar. He took a closer look at Drew.

Tony felt no remorse whatsoever. Not only were the Irish always trying to interfere with South Philly's businesses but they went so far as to try and shoot up Tony's theater...all THAT and now THIS.....This fool held them at gunpoint. Tony, South Philly Phoenix and most importantly Don Latin was not someone to fuck with. Tony squatted some more until he was almost to the floor. He took another puff of his cigar and blew the smoke toward Drew's blood filled motionless limp body. Tony leaned in closer so Drew could hear him.

"The next time you decide to raise a gun at someone from the Phoenix, you better use it. You had your chance...and...you failed."

With that Tony smiled and threw his cigar right next to Drew. He stepped on the cigar to out it. Afterwards Tony nodded toward Nicky. Nicky nodded back and banged the back of the van with his fist. Suddenly 2 men came out of the van and ran toward Drew. They grabbed him by the arm but Drew couldn't even stand on his own two feet. They held him by his armpit and dragged him across the pavement, his knee scraped the concrete and put holes into the knee area of his pants. The men lifted Drew O'Brien up and threw him in the back of the van, they then looked at Tony and nodded as they rushed back into the van, one in the passenger side and one in the driver side. Nicky went in the back and looked at a few items. He picked up a shovel and some rope and nodded while putting it back in the van. He hopped in the back of the van and waved to Tony.

"I'll make sure this gets done boss."

Nicky nodded as Tony replied.

"Make sure it's far away and he's never found."

Nicky again nodded as he closed the van door and shouted for the men to go. The van drove away as the tires peeled out leaving a trail of smoke behind it. Frankie was a bit shocked at everything that had taken place. He looked at the blood filled on the floor, all this happened so close to their place of business..the LUX. Frankie had seen this type of thing before but it never got any easier for him, the chaos that was this life always took a toll on him. He looked at the puddles of blood of floor and then at his boss.

Tony too surveyed everything that had happened. He started to worry and then was overtaken with anger. There was only one possible thing on his mind at this very moment. One thing in his head, something so important to him, something that had to be taken care of quickly. He looked at Frankie and sighed....

Luigi-Antonino heard all the commotion next door and Tony scream out about someone clean his floors. Luigi grabbed the phone and dialed his sister Donatella and told her to get her ass down real quick to The Phoenix headquarters in South Philly. He explained to her the cleaning job and she called a couple of her girlfriends up to help. They brought buckets and cleaning supplies and got to work making Tony's floor shiny and clean again........

Luigi-Antonino walked into the LUX nightclub just as his sisters Donatella and Gianna and the ladies they had brought were finishing up the last few dustings. The place had never looked so good and Luigi slipped them several hundred dollar bills and told em to get lost.

"Don't go trying to talk to TonyCapazzo or any of my other crew mates like Scarfo. If I ever see one of you's dating one of them well we just better not get into it."

Luigi knew his sisters were some angels fallen from heaven and he did everything in his power to make sure they never hooked up with anybody. That's how his father had taught him and his father before that. His sisters were better off becoming nuns but since they definitely didn't want that than Luigi was just scaring and intimidating every possible suitor that came along.

Donatella was a stunning brunette who stood 5'10'' and had curves that would make any man hold on for dear life. She had broken many hearts and she wasn't a pushover. She was fierce and determined and could step over any man's body. Luigi had actually used her in the past to get close to certain men and extract information but it was a risky technique and the higher Luigi climbed in the ranks the less he felt inclined to involve her in his business.

Gianna was even more beautiful. She was tall and stunning, eyes that invited you into her soul and a smile that melted any person's heart. She had secretly married at the age of 18 and tried to run away from home. That was seriously frowned upon by the family and Luigi had tried to track her to no avail. Finally she called 3 months later and explained how her love had started hitting her and Luigi went nuts. He got the address and showed up. He nailed the guy into a chair and started beating the shit out of him. He brought out a little hammer then made sure the family jewels would never be mounted on any jewelry. After everything he left the guy in a pile and had some of his thugs throw the body in the river with cement shoes.

Luigi was happy that The Lux nightclub was back in business after this little hiccup. These Irish pricks didn't know who they were messing with. Luigi showed up at the bar and ordered a nice bottle of red wine. He had really enjoyed being a part of PHOENIX RISING the crew was real tight knit and there were a lot of operations and planning going on at the HQ.
