Right its just a little change keep the bodygards the same as they are but have the option to pay the full cost aswell? |

The option to pay the full cost was deliberately removed to keep defence in line with wack. In other words, wack has to be trained over time; so as a counterbalance bodyguards have to be trained over time instead of just "boom, 175 bgs all paid up." |

No i dont think that was the point here i think bgs was changed because everyone moaning they never get iwp so this way the can but why not still have the option to pay the full cost for those wealthy enough? |

Because why is it not conducive to good gameplay that, all other factors being equal, you could get to the bodyguard cap with a single click, whereas the time it would take me to challenge your defence is upwards of 100 days (at a conservative estimate?) |

If you allowed someone to pay the full price upfront, then you'd have to allow someone to buy all their kills up front? As Guevara stated, the staged purchase process is to allow for a gradual increase over time. If you have the money to burn, you can buy them all up front, and within 10 days have them all fully trained and a good few at 130hp to boot. even if you average 4 kills a day, its going to be closer to 300 days for someone to shoot through all your bodyguards and your rank boosts and HQ defences. |

How is it? This game is all about balances. If you allow people to drop cash to super boost their BGs, then you have to allow for the opposite to maintain the balances, otherwise you end up with stagnation. The fun part of the game is that things can change relatively quickly. Poit of fact, Chicago. in 24 hours it went from the strongest city in game to one of the weakest, just completely imploded. This would have been a lot harder if people could just decide when a war broke out to buy 175 fully trained BGs, meaning I go from needing a 200 kill gun to a 1000 kill gun in an instant. |

War-Munger, please try to articulate your response better and refrain from foul language, its not necessary. The points made by Chris are very valid and are certainly not bullshit. I share the same view that the current process is correct to be staged, as has been mentioned we did previously have a system where people could pay the full cost for the entire thing and we fought for a very long time to get that changed, so any request to move backwards is always going to be met with people opposing it. I think Chris' final comment though hit the nail firmly on the head, you either don't understand the game or haven't even bothered to try. I would gladly help tutor you though in how to play, feel free to contact me. |

I'll use an example that will illustrate the point a little better here. Lets say I am a crewleader who has been a leader for 8 months. I have 400 million and 800 credits at my disposal. You guys attack me, and over the course of a day wipe out my entire crew, and you start BG waving me. You have 30 some wackers, and 3 massive guns, but none of them are quite good enough to hit a capped account. Well now no matter how many weeks you pound on my BGs, you will never ever be able to hit me, because I can replace them just as fast as you can shoot them. You shoot one? No problem, click click, I am now back to cap. Kill another? No problem, click click, I am now back to cap again. You and your 30 wackers literally can not win this war unless you get a 1% lucky shot on me. Two weeks in, I am starting to run low on funds, I swipe a credit card and boom, now I can last another two weeks. Oh did I mention I also killed all 30 of your wackers during those two weeks? By starting them off at 10% and only allowing another 10hp per day means that when you are waving me, I can not really go back to full strength so that as long as you guys keep pounding on me, I can not keep up. The work you guys put in overpowers the money I put in. I think this is a very important limit in the game. |
