Its long been a rule that we should be respectful, even to the dead, no matter what happened. If LA refuses to follow that rule, then I feel very sorry for the city.

Report Post Tip

I find it distasteful. Disrespecting the dead is as Ragnarok said, an unwritten rule of this world. Not so long ago a debate resulted in the death of a man who was seen disrespecting the dead as the world simply doesn't stand for it, nor should it.

Thats not to say that anyone is going to now put BlackBlack where he belongs, as has been mentioned LA is operating under different circumstances which also prohibits interference from outside. It simply comes down to whether or not such blatant disregard for the rules, whether unwritten or not, is deemed a big enough offence to merit the outside takes the matters into their own hands.

Report Post Tip

I'm sure there are various loop holes that can be exploited to remove the man if that is the wish of those unhappy with the manner in which he has handled his funeral visits. What are the rules on mobsters entering the city, setting up and then later deciding they no longer wish to part of the "Wild West." Are they allowed to be accepted back into "normal" society within one of the current established cities?

Report Post Tip

Alan, there is no law against going back. Tupac has done that today.

I will admit, my actions against Richard_Watterson were a little hasty. I showed everyone else the respect of painting their caskets rather than just throwing paint on them.

I will define my actions with painting caskets as respectful other than in this case. Further, I still see no way at all that my defacing a door of a HQ can be any more disrespectful than any of you attacking its forts.

Report Post Tip

HQ fortifications get destroyed after the owner gets taken down. That is as given as not being disrespectful to someone who has passed away. We don't brag about it, it just gets done. On the other hand, you take direct action in the streets, in front of everyone to witness, and do your painting.

Report Post Tip
Pretty clearly disrespectful whether you are delusional enough to think it is or not. If this is how you want to conduct yourself you might want to shoot everyone the second they get there or you'll probably be in the ground pretty damn fast.
Report Post Tip
There is no wrong doing in a lawless city, congrats on survival BlackBlack. At least you let them be buried!
Report Post Tip
My friends and fell mobsters most of you come here to attack BlackBlack for painting an X on the fortifications of a man who tried to kill him and who had killed his members. My father was one of his members who had died due to this mans order as he commanded WhySoSerious into shooting him unprovoked. If it had been my choice I would've pissed on this mans casket as well as WhySoSerious's but that's just me. Should Black care what you all find disrespectful? No he shouldn't as your opinions don't matter at all, Los Angeles is a city unlike others whatever happens there is NO concern of anyone outside the city as they can not interfere according to GodFather Curtis. Those who openly show that they are upset over this mans death are most likely from the city or family who Richard originally came from; however, they should have known it was a mistake to allow him to go therefore I believe it is wrong to be upset at Black for agreeing to duel Richard. Eh that was just on my mind, agree with me or not, like me, hate me I truly do not care at all I was just speaking my mind.

Freeman, none of us have spoken out against his killing Richard. We knew from the beginning that there would be times like this when a boss or two was taken down. The problem we have is the actions afterward. That's the only part of this I find reprehensible.

Report Post Tip

This is true Freeman. Throughout the conversation at hand. The reason people are pissed is simple the way he disrespected the members and mobsters who lost their lives today. I didn't see anything about anyone getting pissed for what reason why he removed Richard. That's just my take.

To all of you that are complaining about the respect of the dead, let me tell you this: although I have heard other stories that I won't converse upon, what BlackBlack wrote, had no regards of disrespect. Let me explain: "He painted the HQ's forts with an X." First of all, no mentions of painted caskets were drawn on them; simply on the HQ. Second of all, BlackBlack is right: this is but a simple "trademark," if you will; a mark of his actions; his family. Think of it like this: the "Z" in the movie Zorro. It is a symbol, a representation, that BlackBlack did this work. I have a neutral stance on this, so don't think I'm taking his side. I found what he did distasteful not for what he painted, but for other reasons taht I explained earlier, won't be explained. Before you reply to me with anger or other emotions, remember this: think logically, neutrally and reason with what you just read and may have reviewed.

Report Post Tip

Reason, the main issue people are having is i painted the caskets black in the funerals. This is all just supplementary.

Report Post Tip

I did not read the funerals yet, but like I said, it is a symbol of your appearance; your work. This has been done in real life before. However, if you did burn the bodies, like I remember reading, then that is disrespectful.

Report Post Tip

I would say just one thing: people who died tried. LA is it's own world now, under predefinined rules, and if you don't agree how things evolve there, you free to change 'em, in there. That's all folks.

Report Post Tip

Reason, if ashing your cigarette on the still warm corpse you just made, among other disrespectful actions, is your way of leaving your mark then it speaks volumes to your character and class. I would imagine it would be difficult enough to convince people to come work in Los Angeles with the general lack of security there as it is. Taking actions that would be viewed poorly by real leadership (the kind that is making this whole thing possible) would only make me want to work there less. LA is free to act as it pleases for as long as the Godfathers provide it with protection, but I'd tread lightly when potentially offending those who gave you the opportunity in the first place.

Report Post Tip
Not everyone's left dead in the streets. Let's be perfectly honest, we as mobsters do some pretty shitty things to dispose of bodies. Some or most of the things aren't very respectful.

Just because your lifeless body hits the floor does not make you automatically respected or deserving of it. Youre judged by your final actions, we're not all built from the same cloth. Some of us have a different mindset, maybe it doesn't lead to the longest lifespans but most of us in "the business" shouldn't expect to live forever.

Anyways, you can burn them in the streets for all I care, LA is yours for the time being. Build it how you want it to be, outside of the guidelines laid out for LA, the rules/mindset are yours to make/create.

Seems that this man, Dont know the respect, Poor man! I though the open of The LA Wild West is a great idea but seems that somethings looks dirty.

CheesyBacon bounceback shook his head

Report Post Tip

Nobody is finding fault with the fact Richard was killed or the manner in which this was done, as death is part of our business; especially in LA. The problem is the graceless and disrespectful conduct shown afterwards, particularly in his funeral.

Please do not try to convince me that pouring paint over the coffin of a man of honour isn't being disrespectful because it evidently is. You don't piss on a casket to varnish the wood and doing anything other than paying your respects Is pathetic and unacceptable. I would expect better from my lowliest associate, let alone supposedly a Don.

To the gentleman suggesting the conduct of someone in the funeral of a man who served my family longer than most people have walked the streets as being none of my concern; please engage your brain. This was a made guy from New York in his place of rest, which is the time and place for family and friends to pay their respects.

I'm a reasonable man, but let me make this clear. If anyone disrespects another of my guy's funerals, whether their intention is to make a mark or whatever the fuck this is being passed off as, I will be taking action against them.

Also, great way to not get involved with LA affairs, you know. How ny supposedly is going to be keeping la isolated and let it pan out on its own, good job barry.
