This is the other half of drug front properties. When drugs are produced, they are put up for sale on this part of the game found under the Profit menu. If you see drugs there at a price that is less than the city price, buy them up, sell them to the city. Often, there will not be drugs available. |

I'm guessing it'll just say the Family name of the seller, and not the actual players name. I'm wondering, though, if the Godfather/Godmother of a city will be allowed to see who owns a DFP in their respective cities. I think that should be a possibility as they practically own the city and any illegal activity that goes on there. Just a suggestion, though. |

They are made by magical elves in the North Pole... ?!?! The drugs are produced by the drug front properties. The drug front properties are owned and managed by a number of users in each city. These users make certain drugs (dependant on their rank at time of purchase) and set the selling price of the drugs produced, which you will see/find on the "Search for drug deals" page. |

Under the old system, we all bought/sold drugs through the city drug dealers. So there was only ever one price for a drug in any city at any one time. The only way to make profits were to wait for the prices to change in that city or to fly to a different city. With the introduction of the DFPs (drug front properties... drug making factories if you will), we now have another option for buying drugs. As an example.... You fly into New York. The city drug dealer ("visit drug dealer" on the menu) is offering a high $9,500 for coke. You sell the coke you were already holding, making a nice profit (under the old system, you bought a new drug... and that was the end of it until the prices changed. however, under the new system....) You check the "search for drug deals" page and notice that ThomasRourke has 10 units of Coke, which were produced by his DFP, for sale for $8,000. As the city price is higher than this, you buy this coke from TR (so he makes money on all the units he produced that day being sold) and sell it to the city dealer (making you an extra profit on each unit you sold at the higher price). |

| So in your explenation ThomasRourke has 10 units. Is each unitt 8k whick equals 80k for all of it or is it all for 8k? | |

He sets the price per unit. So, you could buy 1 unit for 8k, or all 10 units for 80k. As a further example... I set my price to $8750 a little earlier, with the following results... Jun 06, '09 12:37 XXXX purchased 20 lbs of your Cocaine for $173,500. You earned $147,475 after sending $26,025 up as tribute. Jun 06, '09 12:29 XXXX purchased 25 lbs of your Cocaine for $216,875. You earned $184,344 after sending $32,531 up as tribute. Those units were, probably, then sold on in NY for a higher price than the $8750 the person paid on buying them from my DFP. |

I dont get how this can make you money.. I just bought 1 unit for 11k, how is cocaine ever gonna get higher than that.. you loose out if you but it from other people.. just stick to normal drug runs.. |

Well, if you're buying it for a price higher than the city price... you obviously won't make money. It's up to you to know when to buy/not buy it. Many users set prices very high. They are selective sellers. They wish to sell to their own family/friends only, so that only they get the experience points for the extra deals. Some users, like myself for example, just want to make a little money from it. I'm not worried about getting the TOP price or not, I just want to be sure that my drugs sell each and ever day. My price reflects this. I know that at least once each day the price for Coke in NY will be higher than the price I set. As people earn a quick buck and gain experience points from selling, I know that when the price is higher they will buy it. It's a very simple theory... buy from the DFP when you can sell it for a profit. |
