She stepped through the door, closing it behind her as she flicked on the lights. Four locks were next secured, one chain, 2 dead bolts, and a large latch. Reaching the inside of her pocket she pulled out a large folded envelope, inside lay the deeds for the industrial property she had just purchased. Alexandria stood now before the large oil painting she had hung above the antique fire place, pulling it from the wall she smirked to herself how pridictable these hold safe hiding places were, the dial spun left, right, right again and it was pryed open, the deeds deposited safely along with the bundles of cash she had left over from the purchase.
She poured herself a glass of red, leaned against the old crumbling pillar and stared out at the city, blue and red flashing lights illuminated the room as the cops went past chasing some criminal who had just snatched a purse. Now looking though up the street she had seen something, one man attacking another, lips persed as she embedded both faces in her mind before the blinds were shut. She now held a witness statement, another thing to keep safe. |

Nice read. Is there going to be a third day. I sure hope so. |

Sammy listens to the story and nods here and there. Truth be told, it was kind of interesting. Puffing on a cigar Sammy walks up and pats Alexandria on the back.
Whatever happened to the first day? |
