*TylerDurden emerges from a crowd of shocked onlookers, sets down a soap box, and addresses the stunned crowd facing him* Ladies and gentlemen of these streets. Our world lost a great man just minutes ago. Proteus, head of The Old Ones crime syndicate, was shot dead. Though details have yet to be confirmed, this is believed to be the work of the rogue leader Sleep. I come here on behalf of Cthulhu, his Cult, and the rest of the organized crime syndicates of these streets. I have a note to read to you all. *Tyler pulls a note out of his pocket, unfolds it, and reads* If you are offered a home with Sleep, do not take it. He, and anyone who join him, will be hunted down and killed. Mercy will not be shown. He has not been given the authority to set up his own family, and he and anyone alongside him will be seen as threats. This is your official warning. *Tyler re-folds the note, and continues* Today is a sad day for all of us. But it will be sadder still for you if you wish to join this rogue leader. You have been warned. *Tyler steps off of the soap box and disappears back into the crowd.* |
