While daglish and ferguson are talented, noone can hold a torch to guardiola, what he has done at barca in the short time hes been there is simple amazing.

Well, in the past 20 years. United have won 12 English leagues (arguably the best league in the world), 4 F.A. Cups and 2 UEFA Champions Leagues.

Sorry misread what you said there. Fair play, Barca have won more things in the past three years. Then again it is La Liga..

With no disrespect many people claim la liga is easy compared to EPL, that is a over common used assumption which has been proven untrue many times.

There is a lot more creative in la liga than EPL, that is widely known, if anything EPL is easier than la liga.

I said they had won enough in the last 20 years, but they havent been as successful as barcelona in the last 3 years, man u are capable of matching barcelona but are yet to do it, and really if I was to go out on a limb I would say that only half of barca's side are key, not all of barcas side are top quality, their defence is weak when they lose puyol and pique, and with abidal having that op they are even weaker on the wing, luckily they have alves.

What a load of rubbish. In La Liga, there are only 2 teams capable of winning the championship, Barcelona and Real Madrid who are are miles ahead of the rest of the teams. 

The Premier League is a lot more competitive, it is a much harder league to win. Manchester United and Chelsea may have been the 2 dominant teams lately but the standard is a lot higher ... Arsenal, Liverpool, Totenham, Manchester City are all very good sides.  There is a so much more depth in the Premier League. 

La Liga is boring, its just Real and Barca like JkL said...EPL is so much better.  Next year Liverpool and City are gonna be a lot better.

I hope Man Utd can get the 20th premier league title! :)

@Miss-Q, I did misread you, apologies. And I must admit in terms of trophies Barcelona have won more than United. But as the two posters above have pointed out, it is the La Liga.

I'm not trying to say that the La Liga is boring, far from it, there are some excellent teams in there like Villereal for instance, and there are some very talented players other than the ones with Madrid or Barca.

But realistically as JKL has said it's either Barca or Real every season which renders it predictable, and ultimately not as good as other leagues.

Whereas for instance in the Prem it's a lot more of an open contest, which undoubtedly explains why Barca have won more silverware than say Utd.

And speaking as a Liverpool fan, I'd much rather have a very entertaining domestic league than Liverpool winning every trophy in sight.

Sir Alex is one of the greatest managers in the history of football. Perhaps you should take a look at him at his full array of trophys and medals before you tell us that he cannot hold a torch to Guardiola. 

Sir Alex built Manchester United in to what it is today. Stop thinking that Barcelona is the be all and end all and that Guardiola is in a class to himself. Yes, he has had a great run with Barcelona and enjoyed a lot of success in a short period of time ... still does not put him in the same bracket as Sir Alex.

And by the way Barca coped just fine without Puyol .... just ask Mascherano

I actually can't believe how pig headed JKL is! Yeah united are good. I'm a Liverpool fan and I can admit that but at the same time theres no need to go overboard calling other teams fans racist extremists! It's only a minority in every club that causes trouble and gives the rest a bad name. United will probably win the league next year after the signings they have made, it doesn't really bother me. All I want Liverpool to do next year is qualify for the Champions League and put in a good run in the FA cup or something. And as for the guy who critiscised every Liverpool signing (probably a United fan), its not just about the players signed it's about how they fit into a team and how they adapt to they're new roles. In fairness you've spent 18 million on Phil Jones who will rarely play next season and David The Gay who is an unproven keeper.
