This thing of ours is steeped in rich history, and stories, which lose nothing from the re-telling, shape our shared experience of events past and present.  What I'd like to do, is to formulate a chronological discourse of eras.

For example, an obvious one, and a good starting point, is The Era of Roman & Prem, which lasted about 18 months and a street speech from the 21st of October four years ago detailed the downfall..  That long ago, huh?

For arguments sake, an era has to be characterised by a dominant leader or leaders, an extremely destructive war or wars, or a period of time when now discarded methodologies were used (city death tax, for example) or well known groups were at large (Iron Fist, for example).

What era preceded it?  And what followed it?

What era are we in now?
