Perhaps I'm the one confused here because I do not see some dark tenebrous issue at all. All of our cities have experienced rapid growth and we must rise to meet the challenges that this urbanization entails, i.e. housing and employment shortages. We have heard for days here in the streets the clarion calls for both someone to take care of the newbloods, and new faces to help us lead the cities. Now that moves for salvation have been made, the cries turn to slings and arrows. Typical.

I am obligated to New York and its citizens to do everything in my power to meet the challenges that are presented head on. Myself and our family are doing everything we can to make our little corner of the World a viable and successful city. In doing so we must address the need for more opportunities as more citizens move in. I am ultimately responsible for all that goes on here and realize that any move I make is circumspect. I accept this, as I accept responsibility for this cities future.

Your problem seems to lie in the fact that I chose someone from within my own family to help me in achieving my goals. That we had up to this time only WiseGuys is a moot point. I have selected an individual who shares our mission and cares about our city as much as myself. Your point that there are numerous Capos and Mademen walking these streets is well taken. Unfortunately these same individuals, no matter how deserving, are not a part of organization, and I feel that it is not in either my families OR New Yorks best interests to open up to them. Running a successful business model requires a shared vision and cooperation. I have made the best choice possible for my city. Period.

Any questions involving other families members and why they haven't been authed should be directed to their respective Family Heads. I'm sure they would appreciate your questioning their judgment as much as I do.

As has been pointed out this is my city. The decisions effecting this city and it's inhabitants are mine alone. It wasn't that long ago that the idea of a WiseGuy running a family was de rigeur. Both Scandia who is my AGA and myself came into our families at this rank. We have aquitted ourselves well. In the end it doesn't matter at what rank we come into our own. What matters is character. We define ourselves through our actions. That Seventh has transcended the rank of WiseGuy to become my partner in this city should give you some clue as to his importance to me, and to my city.
