Kevin walked down the streets, counting the newly "earned" money he had gotten from a nice little shop down the street. A good deal, half for him,, half for teh family. Always nice how things worked out so well.

Suddenly there seemed to be a comotion in an alley as he walked by a small alley.

"What the hecks all the ruckuss?" He stated quietly to himself as he walked over towards the noise.
As he came upon the cause he was suprised to see a kid, no older than 13, fighting with a lady over her purse.

Kevin ran over and broke up the fighting, the kid got knocked into a wall and the lady fell over still pulling on her bag.

Kevin grabbed the purse and handed to the lady with a simple "Here ma'am", and she ran away quickly and frightened.

"Now Im broke!" Yelled the kid. "Ya got no right teh do that."

"You got no right to mug a young lady like that." Kevin snapped back. "Besides, there are easier ways to get cash." He said calmly holding out a little wallet that was once in a purse which was now running down the street with a frightened woman.

"THat's mine" Yelled the kid, but Kevin pulled the wallet away as the kid tried to grab it.

"Not how it works kid. I stole it, it's mine. Now I never want to see your face around here again, and I especially don't want to see you harrassing any more pretty ladies."

"And what the hell are you gonna do about it!?" Snapped the kid, trying to look tough. "Your just some Thug."

"Well Im the thug with money and a gun, and what's better, connections"

"Well screw ya, jerk." The kid said, running off, and waving a certain rude finger at Kevin.

"Watchit!" Kevin yelled as the kid rounded the corner."

"Hell I got no respect here." Kevein said as he left the alley. "A kid is giving me hard times. Why if I was higher up that kid wouldnt even dare look at me. I mean what am I really, pilfering purses, scamming losers, knocking over shops, maybe a postoffice robbary or two but still nothing big. I need something big to really get my name out... but what.?" Kevin pondered this thought as he continued down the streets.

Soniix walks by the ally and hears Kevin talking to him self.

here's my advice dude, work your ass off hard and you will gain respect, you won't gain respect by asking for it in the streets.

Silvio then lights a cigarette and moves away

Eh I'm not asking for handouts, and I'm no murderer... without do cause. I just am working my way up like everyone else, slowly and gradually.

Yes, please don't kill people.  That would cause the opposite of what you want to achieve.

I think you're off to a good start.  You're getting your name out there.  You're getting involved.  One thing that most of the leaders I know and associate with love is people who are not afraid to get out there and try something.

And this, I would say, is a successful beginning.

Respect is earned. Slowly and gradually, as you make your way through this thing of ours, you will gain respect. Stick to your beliefs, uphold your principles and you will do fine.

Respect is defentaly earned... I remember my boss Mac he broke me from a shell of being the one in the shadows to the guy who likes to get involved of course i am tring to break that of my new family its hard but i know i can do it. Be patient friend it will come in due time!
