I had wandered the streets of the small lakeside village for around a month.  I did some panhandling, some shoplifting, and lots of drinking.  I was penniless, but I was alive.  Those bastards from the Armenian mob would never find me. 

I should have known better than to work for them, anyway.  I figured that their money spent the same as anyone else's.  I was wrong.  Turns out, they don't like to pay once you've assassinated a political dignitary for them.  Bastards.  Sons of bitches.  They had chased me across the country and now I was in this Canadian hellhole. 

I was in the general store, looking to spend the few dollars I had.  The general store was the only place to get anything for a hundred miles.  The owner, Mrs. McCaskill hated me.  Bitch.  Then again, I did shoplift all the time.  But this time, I actually had a little cash and she was still being bitchy.  Then the fat man walked in.

I recognized Ray immediately.  The fat ass had been working for the Armenians.  I hid behind a shelf and listened.  Ray asked Mrs. McCaskill for a pack of smokes and some tampons.  Tampons?  Ray had always been a bit of a pussy, but tampons?  No.  Something was going on here, and it didn't involve me. 

Ray loaded his fat ass back into his truck and drove away.  I walked in the same direction.  By sunset, I had found where he parked his truck.  I snuck around the house, peeking in windows.  In the back bedroom, a blonde girl was tied to a bed, naked, and gagged.  I nearly laughed out loud.  They had kidnapped her, probably for a good ransom.

She was a looker with a perfect body.  I had to pull myself away from the window so I could think.  They weren't here for me, although they'd certainly kill me if they saw me.  They had a beautiful girl tied up.  She wasn't blindfolded, so they were planning on killing her after they got the ransom.  I went back around to the front and tried the doors on Ray's truck.  One was unlocked.  In the glove box, I found a 9mm pistol.  It was loaded and I was ready.

I knocked on the door.  I heard the floorboards creek as Ray approached the door.  When he leaned toward the peephole, I shot him in the face.  I heard movement inside.  Ray's partner, Ted, was probably inside, confused as hell.  I opened the door and stepped inside.  Ted was standing, looking stunned.  I pointed the gun at his head.

"Deadpool?  What are you doing here?"

"Just catching up, Teddy.  Seems you guys have a little prize in there.  Worth a pretty penny, I'd guess."

"Nearly as much as the contract on you, Pool."

"Go to hell," I said, and I shot him in the head.  Then, I went to go check on the girl.  I took out the gag and began untying her. 

"Thank you so much," the naked girl told me.  She smiled seductively.  "How can I thank you?" 

"That's easy," I said smiling.  I stood and handed her the phone beside her bed.  "Call your father and tell him that if he wants to see you alive again, I want a hundred grand by tomorrow."

(OOC: you untied her and THEN pretended to keep her kidnapped and get a ransom? Is there a second part to this story?)

Hershey had been following Deadpool all day.  An old friend of Deadpool's had asked him to keep an eye on him up in Canada.  Hershey was on vacation, and wasn't too excited for the task.  But he agreed, after some negotiation.

Hershey entered the old house, with his pistol drawn, looking for any survivors that may have been missed by Deadpool's bullets.  He saw Ray and Ted laying in pools of blood on the ground.  Hershey smiled at the handiwork, both of their faces being blasted by Dead's bullets.  He entered the bedroom and heard Dead's request of the girl.  Hershey frowned.

Well if your not going to fuck her, I will mate.
