A good one would be interest on money in the bank. a percentage changes depending on how much you have deposited (a larger % for more money put into the account) so after so many weeks you automatically get more money placed into your bank. |

This would just bleed money into the game, basically making the rich richer and not helping anyone who isn't rich. An alternative would be to put money into long term investments like CDs or such (we would have to look at whatever they were called back in the day). Whcih basically locks up the money for a time period, and the interest is tied to the rate at which you deposit it.
For example, you buy a 60 day CD and interest is 5% upon completion. You buy a 90 day CD and interest is 7.5% upon completion. You buy a 120 day CD and interest is 10% upon completion.
If you die during that time, you lose the money. If you withdraw early, there is a 10% penalty.
This is more of a system that I think would work because the losses of people dying would offset the interest given out to those who live to collect. |

Yeah that sounds like a better idea! Just something to help new starters get more money. |
