Marietta applauds politely along with the rest of the crowd as the young man finishes speaking. Wiping her brow and silently cursing the Las Vegas summer, she darted through the crowd with the agility of a young woman, stopping short when she met the new Captain on the hood of a neighborhood car.

Pointing at the hood of the car she tilted her head and raised an eyebrow at the young man.

"Is that hot? Are you burning up here, or do you have buns of steel or what's going on...?"

Realizing she was rambling, and about his backside at that, Marietta quickly adjusts her puzzled look into a smile and polite nod. Extending her hand towards the man she grabs his hand for a brief shake before dropping it and resuming wiping her brow once more.

"I want to congratulate you, young man, on this opportunity that you have received. Being Godmother Aurora's first auth, you have very big shoes to fill. We're talking clown sized shoes here. However, you have come with recommendations from both the Godmother herself, as well as your former Los Angeles associates, so I have faith that you will find your way around this world quite well."

Pausing, she sighs heavily noticing a large crowd pressing around her to speak to the young man. Digging in her handbag she pulls out a business card and passes it over to the Canadian.

"Here, if you ever need to get in touch with me, feel free. Congratulations again, Tie. Do your best to keep Las Vegas classy!"
