| Disabling Popups for RH when CL is Online | Started by: Fear on May 15, '15 20:18 |

I have not fully thought this one out yet but I been discussing it a little bit and I definitely think we need to implement something where when a Crew Leader is online they can check a box and it will disable the message popups for the RH while they are online, they can turn this off as they log off for the night so that the RH will get important ones but it is definitely not needed when the CL is online. I also wouldn't mind some form of option for a RH to be able to set a default that when they go to mailbox it default goes to only their mails, if the CL is offline they can occasionally check the CL mailbox if they want but this would make it a lot easier for them to only see their own mailbox while the CL and RH are online. As I said I have not thought this through fully but this is the base of what I have been discussing and thinking about lately. |

Yes!! If you have a boss like Fear... You are doomed to get like a thousand pop ups when you are online. It would be nice if those messages go to another 'inbox' which can be checked regularly, because it is seriously very annoying to get pop ups all the time while the messages aren't for you. |

I think it would be nice to have an option to remove the pop ups for mails. This way you just get the icon and no one has the issues of unwanted mails being right in their way. |

It would be really easy and more sensible if it was automatic. If the CL is online, the RH is notified of NOTHING. If the CL is offline, the RH gets notified of EVERYTHING, since he is the one in charge at that moment. |

I would very much like to see this implemented. I think CL's should have the option to set it as not notifying RH while the CL is online, however the RH should still be able to click the view option under the drop-down tabs to be able to see it, it just wouldn't pop up automatically. (A lot of times, for instance, my CL is online but at work and it's more convenient for me to still be able to read his mail. With this option, when he is "actually" on, he can make those annoying ass pop-ups go away, but while he's at work he could uncheck it and I'd still get instantly notified.) |

While it can be annoying i really dont see a huge issue with how it is. I have been RH to very chatty crewleaders (Glares at Simplicity and Rianne) But i just used the SDI to filter the mails if the mail was important i would deal with it straight away no matter what i was doing at the time. Though the main issue i see here is with the option to switch on or off is if say something beyond your Crewleaders control happens while the option is switched off. IE. A power outage If something was to happen it could cause a few problems. |
