When people in your contacts die, their name turns red in the sixty second list. Yep thats it. 

they turn red already, even in your edit area for contacts you can click remove dead

Doesn't it not do it if they are offline?

Hi so if i remember correctly, all my friends were contacts in a war in Hollywood. And they started getting shot and i didnt realize they were dying because in the sixty second list they stayed pink and didnt turn red. 

My suggestion is that if you have a contact list and that person on your contact list dies while being active in the last sixty seconds that no matter what color you set them it would immediately turn red. 

If that does happen, it hasnt for me in the past. 

I have everyone in my contact list by city.  It turns red for me, even when they're active within the last sixty seconds.

No Gollum you are correct. When you have the person as a Contact, the name remains whichever colour you have them as in your listing.

Your suggestion is perfectly valid. Although perhaps as tiggy was a little lost it maybe needed a little bit more direction as to what you were suggesting :D
