My favorite is Max Miller, i understand that he is not american, but he is funny.  He left school the same age i did around 12 or so to doos what he loves.  i mean it take a funny man to get on stage in a flower patterned suit and tells dem jokes, you know what i meanz? haha i just get a real kicks out of it.  so please tell me about your favorite showmen/comedian.

Max Miller is fantastic, he makes my toes curl when I laugh. I've found myself growing affectionate toward those new players.. Oh what do they call themselves? They are in the new moving picture shows.

I would urge anyone who has never seen stand-up comedy performed live to do so, be it at a comedy club or some other sort of alternative venue.  Sometimes non-comedy club venues are even better places to see it performed than actual comedy clubs.  The comedy is less watered down and so is the alcohol.  

I love how this was an attempt at an in-character post, but it's deceptiveness fooled most people into being stupid. Myself (at first) included.

Dave Attell, not only is he a good comedian, he had a very, great show on Comedy Central for a long time. He has the average, american joe quality that just makes him a good comedian.

Demetri Martin... has an unusual sense of humor that I just love.

Kat Walliams every damn hustlen

I'm amazed no-one has mentioned Dave Chapelle yet, only discovered him a short while ago myself, but he is brilliantly humerous and his show had a great mix of stand up, sketches and some big hip hop acts performing.

My personal favourite though is Eddie Izzard, i love his random eclectic humour, it very much matches my own random ways of thinking.
