On a sadder note I have grave news that a great member of our neighboring land of Britian has passed away. Arthur Conan Doyle who brought you gripping pieces about a detective that went by the name of Sherlock Holmes.

He was found clutching his chest in the hall of "Windlesham", his house in Crowborough, East Sussex. He soon died of a heart attack, aged 71. I felt that it was my duty to inform you of this saddening news

Alfred "Jake" Lingle was not really a reporter, but what they called a "legman". He went from place to place finding out what we mafioso get up to, he would then fone into the Tribune where another reporter would type up the story.
