Well, It's been in the works for about 2 weeks now, and I've done my best to keep it as fast and sleek and sexy as possible. Now we have a new options page to set all your favorite things, like Toolbar on/off, toolbar specs on/off, the WYSIWYG Poster, and the evil Airport Dialog that everyone hates.

The airport dialog is a popup dialog that pops up when you click the city name in the top left of your screen. Default behavior is to change the page to the airport page.

One slight issue appears to be that the "wysiwyg" setting available under profile is not transferring to the new "options" page.

It might be an idea to either remove the option from the 'profile' page, possibly easier than sorting the assumed broken link between the two.

I just fixed this. Thanks for the heads up, Deimne.

Great change as always.

Just a note: the options are now linked to your master accounts.

What this means is that anything that you change for JoeBob1 then die will still be set for JoeBob2 when you sign up under the same master account.

So if JoeBob1 likes using the toolbar's petty color, JoeBob2 will automatically use it.

Tbh i liked the way the toolbar options were before

@DonDar: Please be more specific. What exactly did you like better? Maybe we can alter this.

Our reasoning for this new options page is that we previously had a bunch of different ways to set options. (The WYSIWYG button, the toolbar page, some behind the scenes voodo, and some things that weren't optional, but should have been.)  Having a single options page makes it easier for the developers to make things configurable, and makes it easier for the users to figure out how to configure things.  There are some features that probably should be optional, but weren't made optional for lack of control panel.  The new options page will make it far easier for us to give users more control over your game experience.  By all means, if you have any suggestions for this, please post/mobmail them.

Sorry i should have been more specific Mario, What i liked better was the way it was layed out and the default settings button mostly. Maybe a better layout cause it just looks a bit boring atm imo, its just like a long list cluttered together and maybe bring back a default settings button? Just my honest opinion :-)

There is a Default settings button. The default settings is everything off.

The layout itself was a touchy subject. I fought with it for 2 hours one night, trying to get it to look like the old toolbar page. This didn't work. I'll continue to play around with the layout, until I can get it how I want it, but until then we'll all just have to live with it as it is.
