While this is a good idea, if you are giving out awards, I think the responsibility is on you to do the research in some way and THEN give the awards. Having people apply for their own awards defeats the purpose, and it makes the whole thing seem rigged.

I agree with Redeemer, unless you are doing opinionated awards such as best Crew Leader, best name, nicest person - These things can be done by having a nomination period, once the period is up you post all the awards with nominations for people to MM their votes to you. Then you tally the votes and choose a night to announce the winners.

If you're doing things such as "most money, most PPs" etc etc these things are a bit hard to prove unless everyone sits down and starts sharing info which I highly doubt is going to happen.

So I suggest keep it to opinionated awards, have a nomination period, then a voting period, then announce all winners. Just my .02

Indeed, categories such as ''Most kills in one week'' and  ''Longest time without attempting to wack someone'' are supposed to be sensitive information.
