Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent on a good profile picture (suit). Say your ancestor walks right out of a suit store with his new suit on and, 'BOOM', he drops dead. They wouldn't let the suit rot, they'd either bury him in it or it'd be in the descendent's inheritance.

So what you are saying Mr_Fever is all profile pictures get saved and you can see who wore what suit?

Or possibly that he wants every ancestor to have the same suit?
