[It is a humid evening, an uncharacteristic climate for a town nicknamed The Windy City. On a desolate street corner in the Southside of Chicago sits a non-descript corner pizza shop. The bold, freshly painted, engraved sign that reads "Giuseppe's Sicilian Pizzeria" looks out of place atop the building's shabby exterior. The well-groomed man in the tailored, red suit with the slicked-back black hair and pencil-thin mustache looks equally out of place in the run down neighborhood. Yet he sits in his wooden chair at an outdoor table like he is royalty seated at a throne, smoking a cigarette and sipping from a rock-glass of Scotch. There is a certain sleaziness about him, so much so that he is almost charming. He is KingBenny, the leader of the newly-formed Cheese Syndicate of Chicago] "Coming up in This Thing, I learned a lot. I learned what it meant to be in a Family that looked out for each other. I learned Respect, and Honor. I learned how to move on when friends of mine paid the ultimate price for their mistakes and bad decisions. I learned how to corrupt the system and spin it into a seemingly endless cashflow. And now look at me. I'm sittin' outside a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint sweatin' like an animal. And you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way." "I'm a businessman. Always have been. And in my business, a place like this, more importantly in a neighborhood like this a place like this is where I need to be. The streets. This is where it happens. This is where the dirt and the deed is done. This is where the juice is. This is my office." "This is where you'll find me. In them alleyways and on them corners, making big moves and making even bigger money. It's in these same alleys and on them same corners I see men and women with no home. Ambitious young guys and gals, looking to make a name for themselves. Looking for a place to belong. Looking for a Family." "Some of them may have had mothers or fathers involved in Our Thing. Some of their ancestors may have come up the same way I did, in a large and powerful established Family." "I'm offering an opportunity to get in from the ground up. A new Family, right here in Chicago. I ain't talking about no 'renegade' gang, I'm talkin' a small but organized, tightly-knit Family of Men and Women who are looking to grow. The Cheese Syndicate of Chicago. Me and my Underboss kong will be opening our doors to people with the same work ethic, the same business-sense, and the same street smarts as us to build a foundation here in this city. A subsidiary of Don Sidious's Darkside Familia, operating as it's own entity, here in these very streets." "I'm a busy man, and so is my Underboss. Please don't waste our time. We're looking for a select group of serious people who want to make money and build a Family. Come talk to me in private if you ain't got a home. If I ain't around, talk to my Underboss. But when you talk to us, talk sense. We ain't got no time for nonsense." [KingBenny looks off into the night and takes a long drag from his cigarette as a young man approaches him.] "hi I want to ask u plz can I be in ur fam I will make u lots of $$$ thx ☺" [KingBenny continues to smoke staring off into the night, while the young man stands beside him ignored, like an utter, and complete asshole.] |

Edward wanders down the street and overhears KingBenny speaking in the street. Congratulations KingBenny. I am looking forward to what you have to offer the fine city of Chicago. Edward spots a hooker a few blocks away and scurries after her while waving money in the air. |

[Upon seeing The Don of Detroit approach, KingBenny gets up from his seat to greet him.] "Good evening, DK. Welcome to the neighborhood." [He shakes his hand, then notices -Soniix and EdwardRossi approaching the table as well. KingBenny turns around and taps the window of the pizza shop.] "Bring out three slices for my Friends here, Giuseppe." [Old Man Giuseppe comes out from the otherwise closed pizzeria with three plates of thick Sicilian crust pizza and distributes them to the group] |

Cheese syndicate?! Thats one of the stupidest names I have ever heard! Anyway I'm not surprised, people around here usally can't give families proper names.I would rather die than join a family with a name like that.I don't care if I die but if I did I would rather die.Why would you want to call a family a name like that?! Is this some kind of joke?! And anyone who says I could get killed I really don't care so please don't mention it. |
