Going back and editing what you said should not be possible. Once you say something, you should never be able to "Take it back"
Fuck you tyrant godfather!
Ooops! I didnt mean it... editeditediteditedit
You are such a fair minded godfather, all bless thee. |

Utilize the backalley to post and proof read before posting something. Easy solution to not being able to edit your post. |

| I agree with Squish on not being able to edit street posts but I think we should be able to edit Back Alley threads and posts. | |

I've started coding a preview/publish mode that works with posts and threads.
If you are posting, you type what you want, submit it, it shows it in the thread exactly as it would look, but iit had a big PUBLISH button underneath it, as soon as you click that, it goes live and the rest of the world can see it. This gives you a chance to redo it, delete it, whatever - before you actually submit it to the world. |

I'm talking about the corktown torture thread.
I have certain parts that I want to be really different, but I can't edit them now that I have found the mistakes I made.
I'm all for the "once you say something/ post something it's said and done" but when writing a story it's not so nice being unable to edit your posts |

But it's stuff that not a proofreader would notice because it's adding very specifik story details that only I know where to add. :c |

I agree with the point that somebody shouldn't have the means to edit their post, simply because they have regret, and we all should proof read for errors - but occasionally, there are unexpected format errors (lines of code), that are difficult to detect until a post has already been submitted. This why I feel that Squishy's concept is a great compromise. |
