Curtis walks out into the streets and gathers the attention of the crowd. "I have had several questions put to me recently about Los Angeles and the rules that govern it. I have directed those questions to our LA rules but still more questions return. Most of these being a result of rule additions or amendments that have been made as the project has developed. The amendments are all in the original discussion but it seems many are too lazy to look for the answers they seek so I have had a couple of conversations with other Godfathers and the general consensus was that it would be in the best interest of clarity to republish the full, amended rules. That was they are all as easy to find as it is possible to be. I must start by re-stressing one primary point:"
"This poster contains the amended rules and a couple of updates. We discussed ways to keep the appeal and lively nature of LA in tact. We have seen a lot more stability in that town that originally imagined and so we had some conversation about ways to ensure that excitement and appeal for the potential arrival, remained. There have only been one or two very small actual changes to the rules. The rest is simply a complete list of all the rules gathered from the original announcement and subsequent conversation." He then turned and gestured to the new sign that two guards had just finished hammering to the wall.
. Los AngelesThe Wild WestAmended Rules 1:6 .
Los Angeles exists with none of the conventional rules about governance. It is open to any entrepreneurial spirit with balls enough to go and set up there. Once someone has ranked to Wise Guy and is ready to immediately rank to Made Man, or higher they are eligible to move there and set up their own crew. They have the opportunity to go into LA and try to make a stand for themselves.

.
Outside the city
Looking back at the crowd Curtis takes a sip of his coffee before finishing up. "As you can see, most of the rules remain the same with just additional lines of clarification. There are only a couple of new points and those are not really new, they are just gathered from the other conversation. We hope this condensed version of the rules allows greater ease for those wishing to learn more about the city. The best of luck to you all!" |

Listening intently, Louis ponders his understanding of the West Coast cities and if it coincided with the Godfathers governance of LA. "Interessante, Godfather Curtis. "I have a query about the west coast which doesn't deserve it's own speech, however you may be able to help. I suspect it may be indirectly related to the LA project anyway." Removing his hat and stubbing out a smoke, Louis tips his head in a respectful greeting. "It is my understanding the the east coast cities are renowned for having a tougher environment to 'cut your teeth' on. Chicago and Detroit offer the security of never being too far from home. I recently travelled back from the west and no number of smoking hot air hostesses could make that journey pleasant. "What does the west coast offer our business? Or, with all respect to our friends who work in the two cities, is the easier environment and LA project directly linked to introduce those who wish to try their hand at running a famiglia?" |

"Godfather Curtis. As you can assume it is almost every man's dream of running their own crew eventually. They know that if they work hard and fly right they may be given the opportunity. I think now would be a good time to let the masses know what the benefits are for setting up in the Wild West." Smokes his cigar as he waits for an answer |

The benefit is just that. Instead of hoping for an opportunity to be given to you, you can ask to go out on your own. It is a rare opportunity in itself to be given the chance to set up. As Curtis has mentioned time and time before there are no prizes or perks given for moving out to LA. |

Turning to LouisGato. "The city offers the same functionality to outsiders as any other populated city. Empty cities can be harder to organize crimes in etc. LA being populated just means both west coast cities are full and functioning. Something that helps enable all forms of business." He then turns to Caolan. "The opportunity is the same as it always has been. At the risk of repeating myself I'll state again; This is just a chance for those who wish to try their hand at making their mark on their own. Without normal support or backing from a city. Some get frustrated with family life, others feel they are always overlooked, some just want the thrill of uncertainty and others thrive on the danger of conflict. This city is for every man and woman out there that craves a more unhinged and lawless life. You will have to operate within the restrictions laid down but outside of these simple rules, anything goes. I encourage you all to read the information carefully before considering LA as an avenue for your life. It is a chance to lead but it is not and will never be leadership in the full and conventional sense. The restrictions that are imposed will remain. If you are sitting around wanting your own family but it doesn't look like you will ever get that chance, LA could provide an avenue toward reaching that goal, even if it is on a somewhat limited basis. Its entirely the choice of the participant. No one is pushing anyone to do anything here." |

Britney is walking through the streets and notices Godfather Curtis, speaking once again about LA. She remembered hearing about the wild west from her mother and was advised by her that is was a great place to visit but if you ever decided to live there just be careful. So she listened to what the Godfather had to say at the end he pointed to a sign that a couple of guards were pinning to the wall. Curious she decided to go over and check it out. After reading it she decided to speak up. "Now I just wanna say a couple things about LA, my mother was one of the many that never truly saw this project working out. I know yes there has been a couple speed bumps along the way but that goes with about everything in life. By the looks of it though seems with all the rules that have been set fourth and the willingness of the participants to follow the rules has made this I would say a successful project. Bravo to all of those that decided to venture out there and maintain a stable living and bravo for the council who has set fourth and followed their own laws." Britney gives a small golf clap before heading off. |

Gollum, who was scaling the walls of New York city, came across the speech that Curtis was giving about the wild west. With the beauty that there was no interference from outside the city unless a rule was broken it seemed that they were free to do whatever they felt necessary to provide for their city. As he stood there slightly above the trashcans, he enjoyed being hidden by those barrels of stench, he began to wonder about the vacant city. With his thoughts looming he asked a question about Chicago. Curtis, masters i wants to asks you a questions about Chicago as well. I know this is off topic of the Wild West but if there is nothing going on in Chicago will we see a similar event take place? The only reason i shares this is because i thinks i have a funs idea for the master! Gollum crawls creepily past Dr_KennethNoisewater and politely looks up at Fear who was also in attendance before continuing on. The reasons i ask Masters is if there is nothing special being planned on there it might be fun to do something here as well. Maybe something even a little more spectacular! Somethings thats not been seens by anyone ever before! Tyrionlannister looked quite disgusted at the creepy mobster who was recently made and darthvader couldn't stop smiling at the bald headed big eyed monstrosity. It probably reminded him of himself in a strangely disordered way, the dark side. Again, if there is nothing going on what if master implemented the same rules as LA but designed a hybrid city. Creating a few families by having one representative from each city entering. Then after getting the ball rolling anyone who wanted to join had to have one member from each city before they set up as well! |

"Grazie, Godfather Curtis, I appreciate the time taken to answer my query. "I also applaud your role in administrating this project, for both the benefit of the aspiring crew leaders and the wider organisations across the country alike." |

Curtis notices the familiar skin and bones of Gollum and smiles. "Gollum. There are on going conversations happening about Chicago. As of this moment there is no desire to open that city to the kind of project we currently see in LA. We think one city is more than enough for this type of venture. Chicago's future is likely to be much more conventional. It is a great city, a massive part of our mob history and as such we want to see it populated with very strong individuals. There will be movement in that city, right now however, I can't give you an exact date." |
