It was a rather cloudy day in the Bronx, not unusual for this area. The weather fit the mood perfectly as the members of The Union poured into the old headquarters building and chatter began to fill the once silent atmosphere. Today's events were quite unusual and it was a tense situation for everyone involved. Family members were shot down, leaders had fallen, the future of the Bronx was up in the air.

"What's going to happen now? What will become of us?"

These were questions that were overheard from the crowd. Pouring herself a drink, Eris put out her cigarette and stood up from the table in the far corner. Taking her pistol out, she fired a single shot in the air, silencing the crowd before speaking.

"Listen up, my lovelies. I know some of you are worried about the future of our family and the future of our district, but I am here to pacify those worries and calm the tension that surrounds this place. I am here to announce that this is our permanent home. We are here to stay. The Union was built here and we are doing everything possible to make sure we give this family the run it deserves. Upon saying that, it gives me great honor to announce that Dr_KennethNoisewater will be taking the position of Godfather of Bronx, NY. He certainly deserves this position and I know he will make us all proud."

As she speaks, the waiters come around with trays upon trays of the finest champagne, the glasses shiny and new. Grabbing a glass for herself and the Doctor, she turns to him, raising her glass in the air.

"Now, family, let's raise our glasses to the man of the hour! Here's to our bright future!"
