Casterly on the Rocks Started by: TywinLannister on Jun 04, '15 03:02

Tywin finished wiping the glass clean with his rag, mumbling under his breath about his wife not putting out enough. Shaking his head he takes a look around the bar, content enough with the simple yet comfortable atmosphere. His ancestors have worked all over the 6 main cities, with his own house in New York and many friends he felt it'd be best to have a Family Bar near by too. He knew it was only a matter of time until he was going to have his own businesses all over the mob world, but yet still decided he'd run the bar himself.

The back of the place was roped off by a thick, soft, black velvet rope draping between golden posts placed every couple of feet. Tables were spread out evenly across the antique carpeting, with comfortable chairs at each one. Menus sat upon each table, though Tywin thought they were pointless as most his customers were comming for the alcohol not the grub. Shot glasses and pints sat where you'd usually find the water, and there was a smaller menu with the days special drinks.

Walking behind the bar, Tywin looked out and saw a few more tables randomly placed around bar stools. Ashtrays could be found on almost every one, though he knew most of the time drunks would just ash on the floor, or their own laps. Dumbasses, he thought. Popping open a beer Tywin gathered the darts and put them back above the dartboards, which sat next to the case holding pool sticks and across from the row of pool tables. Content with how everything looked he decided it was time to open up the bar. Tywin walked to the door and spun the sign to say:

We're open for business, no throwing up inside!!!

Report Post Tip

It was only a couple minutes ago Al had left Carny's dealership after ordering a fleet of new vehicles. Unfortunately they weren't going to be ready for a couple days so he had to hoof it back to his hotel suite. Feeling the thirst for a taste he gave into his cravings and approaches the first bar in sight. Casterly on the Rocks read the neon sign outside the joint, though the 'on the' and even the 's' at the end of Rocks must have short circuited as only Casterly Rock flashed.

As he entered the bar he quickly realized is had been deserted&untouched, and Al thought to himself if the place had ever even seen a penny. Not because the place wasn't luxury but because none of the bottles had been open. A very odd sight. As he made his way around the bar he smelt something familiar, a wretched smell of a corpse that must have been rotting in the bar for quite some time, but where was it. That didn't end up mattering, as all he could do was hold his breath and raid the top shelf as quickly as possible. After finding a bottle of Canadian Rye and another of Cuban Rum he makes off like a thief in the night out the door without ever looking back....
