There's one rank missing on the rank system which could be help to a family to give a order to the high rank system, in real mafia times there were such people as this Under boss, a rank after capo but before boss ofcourse a transition postion from capo to boss.

What is the point of this new rank? In order to create a new rank it needs a job to do.

Well, theoretically, if the Don of a family died his Underboss would be the Right Hand and take over the family. It could be that, if somebody in your family is the rank Underboss or over, instead of the family being eliminated in a war, they take over. But, in the whole, I disagree with this. The Underboss is the RHM of a family.

I agree with the new rank of Underboss, however it should be only avaliable to the RHM, so in such events as war a family can be taaken over by the "underboss", however, RHMs shouldn't be able to just assume the rank underboss they should have to work for it like any other rank.

This is just spit balling but the "underboss" should be able to still acumulate exp points so if and when the boss of the family die, the "underboss" can rank due to the hard work they put in to get the points.

Perhaps instead of having more than one Don in a family, the RHM could reach the rank of Underboss.

However, I'm largely against this, as it would probably just grant further longevity to families and thus stagnant things even further.

well after reading your thoughts and adapation's of the idea looking at both side of each comments there are postive's and negtives of course, yes i can see how a under boss would actully be higher then a boss, as for having the abilty to reknew the family after a death of a Don is a great idea, as killing a Don does not mean a family is elmintaed for good, a new leader presses a new way of tinking thus peace can be realined with a possible sit down makeing the game very intersting.

I think more ranks would be good as this would then make it more difficult to achieve Godfather or Don and some of the other higher ranks with the insertion of more points required into the system, not to mention keeping people more interested as there will be more ranks to aspire to. A downside would be the possible dissolution of other rank boosts into a number of different ranks as you will have more of them and would not want to keep adding wack or defence boosts to the game.

Underboss,is just the same thing as a RHM...A LHM...Not so sure,I would consider that the family Consigliere.

We use Consigliere as a rank that anyone can achieve,it is just like RHM or Godfather,there is one Consigliere In each family...Corleone Consigliere was Tom Hagen...There weren't any other Consiglieres in the Corleone family...Its a single rank,not one that 20 people in the same family should be able to achieve.

Not exactly, some family's had more then one cosig, under boss in terms of rank system is under neath them higher then a boss but lower then consig.

They branch out on there own usually kinda like a sub crew as you will, consig is a business adviser to the don, under boss still does the work, where consig and Don do the behind the scenes work.
