Alrite ladies and chaps at the weekend i was just at a music festival called T in the Park, On the saturday night i wasn't really arsed about the main headliners so my mate insisted i go see a band called Nine Inch Nails as apparently it was one of there last gigs they were ever going to play. I decided fuck it and went to see them. As soon as they came on i couldn't believe the atmosphere, Along with a savage stage presence and a fucking shit heap of crazy fans just letting loose, i couldn't believe all the different sounds that hitting me it was absolutely immense.

That was a total shock gig for me as i had never really gave that band a chance before i seen them, and i would say apart from seeing Radiohead live ( Which for the first time was possibly the greatest moment of my life. ) they are a close act as my favourite live act.

So now i am wanting to read some of your favourite live acts whether it be a Musician/Band or a stand up comic etc etc

I saw Lee Evans at the Apollo a few years back. I think it is the only time when I have been laughing non stop throughout the whole thing! I have also Dylan Moran live too! Although I did not find him as funny, his jokes were sophisticated and I like the way he could relate to each topic he raised.

With regards to bands. I think one of the best gigs I went to was by little known band (in the UK anyway) was Millencolin. This was years ago and I really went without having a clue. As soon as "No Cigar" came on the whole room erupted! Was a pretty mental experience. On a slightly bigger scale, Kings Of Leon, Weezer, Kasabian, Stereophonics, Pendulum and Jimmy Eat World were all worth their money and more

Seether & Green Day by far.

Cant even tell a difference with Seether.

Green Day is so energetic its insane.

No, but seriously, I have seen a shitload of concerts in my 40 years. Many of the best shows I saw were not even bands I was a big fan of, but they impressed me performing live.

The best live acts I've seen are:

Metallica (first saw them in 1986, then again in 1990. I don't know if the old coots can still bring it)

The best band I've seen live has to be Oasis. They were absolutely quality, did a 24 song set and the atmosphere was awesome with about 70,000 people there.

Mine would have to be Kings of leon and Oasis, both of which i have seen in the past month, and both rocked it out

I went to see Oasis a while back, they were awesome

Radiohead, Prince (or whatever his name was at the time), The Cure (43 songs... not too bad), Bjork and The Rolling Stones.

Oh and Blur that I saw 2 weeks ago: they were awesome, and it's coming from a person who didn't know all of their songs (only hits apparently...).

I seen janes addiction a few weeks ago, I didn't really know much about them but i was fairly impressed even though the prick of a guitarist didn't know when to stop playing solos. the front man was hilarious . only disappointment was there set got cut short because they came on a little late and nine inch nails were due to come on.

I also seen blur a few weeks ago and was fairly disappointed they played too many 'hits' and not enough of there good stuff.
