DarthMaul begins to speak, but realizes that the conversation is going no where, picks up his handy lawn chair and proceeds to walk away uttering small words as he leaves. Can't win them all. |

The people outside of Los Angeles do have a mind in this matter. It was a person outside of LA who had the thought of creating this matter. Now i wish to share with you some excerpts of one of my last conversations with The late Godfather Curtis. We were specifically speaking about Los Angeles and i was asking him about some of the questions you specifically brought up. The answer to many of these questions is first to remember that with LA at its current standing, which no one knows what is happening, it doesn't require anything to join. The only requirements are that one, your Crew leader allows you to leave and two a street presence about your Los Angeles move is provided. I once asked Curtis, why the no GF rule, he replied with the following wisdom: This is not meant to be a jab and say oh all of our leaders are better than yours or that are leaders and members work harder where we are at. It is to say that, as Curtis spoke, It would be grossly unfair on those that take the hard road to real auth if we allowed the LA CL's to have full size crews and become full Godfathers. It is a beautiful project. A city of dreams where any man or woman can take a chance at something they otherwise feel they would never get. And crew sizes are restricted for the same exact reason. If not, why wouldn't anyone just drop their crews and become the next big thing in LA? They would have all the same exact features in LA as they do in their current cities. As far as the future is concerned. We need to have the same rules unless specifically changed by the current regime of Godfathers.
As much as i value your opinion i still believe this is a great project. It still allows a person to lead. A person who's lineage who may gain experience or see that there is more to this life than becoming a drug dealer popping in and out of different cities to increase their units. I believe that this can be turned to good if its just re-established by our current leaders. As far as the useless blood that has been spilt, i specifically remember one young leader, noble, dying at the hands of darthvader as soon as he set up. No one thought it was fair but the fact is, it was. He knew what the dangers of setting up were. It kept us on the edge of our seats waiting to see what would happen next. The same story could be shared about Prae. It fed a fire in this life that manifested itself in a way that allowed the dull moments to be washed away with a vigor of bloodshed and risk.
I completely agree with this. We as the outside community of LA do care what is happening. If we didnt why would so many people be listening to this conversation. Personally i would like to see some sort of action for LA conclude this street thread. I am fascinated with the city and only want the best for it and for the people who are entering into it to become something more. |

Versace hears this conversation between outside influences and decides to add his take on the whole project as a whole.
Hello everyone, I want to start off by saying that I love this experiment, if it wasn't for it I wouldn't be here today as you all see me before you now. I wanted to speak a little bit on behalf of the City Los Angeles and its current state. We are all working together very closely to rebuild the city as a whole. Losing a beloved CL and friend Johnny_Insane my captain to a rogue and the relocation of DarthVader has left this city pretty empty. Me and my current captain BigSmo and my other captain KavinskyFM and many others have worked hard to fill in the gaps. So far things are going quite well. We are filling up indeed. We may have had some set backs. But that won't stop the city from moving forward. I want to thank everyone for your concern and on wondering what's going on behind closed doors.
"We as a whole are working each and everyday to grow and prosper like any other city."
let me introduce myself. I am Don Versace. I am the highest ranking leader in the LA project. My road to becoming a CL was a little different then most honestly. I never left a outside city to join the Wild West and try my chances, even tho my father Heroin did try, but things didn't work out that way for him. I was born into it. I hit the shores of Los Angeles as a civilian.
I joined OdinIII's family, Valhalla which was a wonderful time in my career. I earned my rank up the ladder to becoming his Left Hand man. Sadly that position was short lived, which only lead to bigger things for me. I was then voted by the rest of the LA leaders, Odin-III, Templar, DarthVader, Percival and NightHawk, to become the 6th CL and take home in Inglewood. All 6 leaders worked well together. But sadly info was leaked about an attack on LA. Several Leaders took action and met their demise.
Most of us know the story already, so I won't comment on that. Later on Templar took role of acting city head to strengthen numbers and keep the city well glued behond closed doors. Paul and Sir_Bedivere eventually set up with us and beside us, which covered the playing field of Los Angeles. Later Templar and others removed them for such reasons I may not be able to discuss here today. Me and DarthVader worked night and day beside Templar to make this city run smooth as a well oiled machine and so did many others.
Templar was then giving full auth in Las Vegas, due to his works and wonders in the eyes of late great Godfather Curtis. Me and Vader both felt he earned it as well and he proceeded to Las Vegas where he was greatly needed. I then moved to Hollywood first, then followed by DarthVader. We both took over center District and took over head leadership to rest of Los Angeles Districts. Everything like before went smoothly. Until the major war we just seen. Sadly I was away on business in Sicily I was not able to be present. When I came back. I came home to DarthVader relocating to Las Vegas , where he was needed. I was totally fine with that move as he done wonders here in LA next to me. During that time we lost Johnny_Insane my old left hand who set up in Inglewood When I moved over to Hollywood.
Which brings us to present day. Me and KavinskyFM alone in the city. Same city that had so many leaders standing next to each other and flourishing families, where now left with only two leaders. To bring more revenue into the city I again authorized my left hand to become a Captain under me in Hollywood, so we could house more members in the city of LA. He not only was set up to house people but he's a capable leader and hard worker to this city who deserved a chance.
There has been more death of CL's during this whole time of my linage in LA. I am simply trying to give you all a well watered down version of what I seen. Some info is missing, some that is not important to this matter at hand.
What I am getting at today is this. That I have put in a lot of time into this city and have played many roles in it. We all want LA to be a real city we stride for it. I do know that this decision is not up to me. But up to the current Chairmen and Godfathers. If you wonder what my opinion is on the project itself. I think it is a great experience. To me I didn't see it as being as a Training Ground, because my Linage has been CL before. But it did give me an opportunity to become a leader then and now, when I was not in line for one. I do want the HQ band to get lifted to bring more people to the city. I am hoping that the people in charge take a gamble on me and this city to become a full city with the same rules that govern the others that surround it.
Thank you for your time and for listening. I am not debating anything. So please don't take this segment like that. |

Without listening to the shit a lot of other people have probably spouted, my answer to the future of LA is simple. Let it die. I have always felt that the west coast mobs were an inconvenience, it takes far too long to travel and it doesn't offer anything as an incentive to travel there. The drug prices are fairly average, unlike Chicago and Detroit where they tend to go for a higher price and can be used as a great way to make that extra income. Not only does it offer nothing but what is the need for LA and while we're at it, LV? What do they offer to our world other than being so far away that it takes half a day to be able to make the return flight? Why rebuild a city like that when we have Chicago and Detroit free? I think we should turn our attention to those cities and look to rebuild them. Not only are they much more profitable, but the flight times are cut by half in comparison to the west coast. I'm not saying, let's wipe out all the families out there, I'm saying maybe it would be a better idea to relocate them to a more convenient city. |

Interesting proposition, Aniki. I myself feel that these cities should remain open until capable men from New York and Philadelphia can fill it's empty streets. |

"These cities" being Detroit and Chicago, Sidere? Why only "capable" men from NY and Philly? Are the LA and LV guys not capable enough? They don't necessarily have to run these cities, but it would be much more beneficial to all if they did relocate. Sending someone off to be a CL in a place like LV or LA just seems like a waste in my eyes. Further to my previous points it's rarely well populated as people would rather not have to spend 12 hours waiting for a next flight. |

I won't say they aren't capable enough - they seem to be doing fine so far. While I've never seen LA and LV as the best cities to run, they aren't necessarily worthless. To get people from the west coast to move to Chicago and Detroit just seems like a waste of money to me. |

Ok, i honestly watch LA with intrigue and the odd cringe. Neither My father or I are fans of wild west cities, although people say it gives a taste of leadership, it also does not truly reflect leadership with the sword of damocles constantly hanging over ones head. Most of the original Terms though are great for people wanting to start out, whether used as a training ground to breed leaders such as the restriction of members. instead of instantly encouraging 40 member HQ's, go for 20 and if alive for a month then expand. You have had time to develop a structure, mix with the lesser number of members. Build organisation and test your communication skills. This can be a progress to develop and the idea of leadership, the problems especially in war time as well as delegation and development and assessing the skills of your crew mean it is sometimes better to grow slower, mould the members better as have more one on one time before an expansion. As for moving to the city and realising you cannot lead or struggle, i think should be able to step down, but you must return to your original crew and your members preferably to the city. The lack of anouncement of an LA leader moving whether by mail, poster, would disturb me. I believe especially post war it may create opportunity for a former member to rebuild under an establish even if depleted city. As for LA not getting a godfather, why go there then would be my question? are people that hopeful rules will change in time to claim the holy grail of ranks? are they that much of a threat from growing in this wild wild west? I honestly believe as stability comes LA should grow, if two leaders have stayed stable they should have an option to grow the city further. Whether they nominate a head for the district or have votes city wide. The idea it can develop further skills to me, is a great thing and can offer great rewards whether in times of instability or when lining ones pocket. |

| Perhaps the flight time and drug pricing can be modified to make the flight worthwhile. | |
