Karel is walking into the streets and sees something strange. There are no crews asking how he was doing, or just trying to find out who the new guy was. 

He just didn't get it there where a lot of new people walking the streets looking for jobs and a family to call there own but what they see is onething. so he calls out.

"Is there anyone interested in the new guy"

"And ofcourse I knows it's difficult to get back to business during a war and find talking to possible new members waste of time. But that is also a part of this world. You need to fill those places that are left by people that die. You need to grow so i just like to say one more thing." 

"Give the new guy a chance, even in War times "

Then Karel walks of again and starts looking for stuff to do.

Patience! I daresay people have more important things to do than ask how you are doing.

Hello kind sir, I do dare say that these things take time and if you kindly hide in some safe building you can rest assure that some great chap will find you and offer you a job and a place to call home.  If you need a home try asking some of the current CL's I'm sure we could give you a job even digging graves is current profitable.

Hands the guy a freshly made chocolate chip cookie and goes about his business.

Instead of bosses or hands approaching you, how about approaching them?

As far as the jobs go, im sure there will be some up after everything is settled.

I just think he's worried of being snuffed out before getting into a family

Akasha walks silently past the small group, her fine figure and lack of clothing turned a few heads.  With a smile she whispers "We all need a family boys and girls or we end up a statistic." Upon finishing her sentence she seems to walk into a nearby shadow and fade away.

They can't offer people jobs, the war is still going on. They want to be more stable in the society before accepting anyone because there is still a chance that new people can leak information to the opposing side. Such as a Pro leaking the whereabouts of a hitter and how long until his previous pro is up.

Reason was walking down the street when he saw this new face mumbling something. Thankfully, he heard the mumbles. He went over to the guy and said:

"Look, these things take time in war. You've to understand that a new face may be more complicated to manage in times like these. People have to concentrate on the "now" and the "not dying" part. Let me suggest something to you and this comes from personal experience. For now, find a building or a place where you can camp out the war. You won't starve to death and of dehydration. Don't worry. If you find an adequate spot you'll be fine on the morrow. Plus, if it were me, I would do the exact same thing I am suggesting you do now. You can get killed even though your young and we don't want to see your blood painting these walls, now, do we? All's fair in love and war!"

Reason tapped the man on the back and whispered in his ear, "Good luck." Reason quickly went back to a safe building where he also can wait for the war to end before stepping out of the shadows and into new dawn.
