Solvent snatches up the remains of a advertisement for an IQ test that had been stapled to a light pole. Sighing to herself,she starts to wonder as she steps up to the empty soap box that stands on the corner of the street. Taking a puff of her smoke before she puts it out she turns to a few that pass by and addresses them.
I have been thinking today and am a bit concerned. Are new and different ideas not embraced in this thing of ours? Do we not live in a world where different ideas as long as put in a respectful light can't be viewed as well what they are something unique and new?  Many times I have heard people complain because some come into these streets and preach the same things and "beat the dead horse." Yet then we get someone deciding to step up, be it because of a requirement to show a face in the streets or simply because they want to and they get stepped on and beat down for it. What does this show those younger ones like myself? Does it not cause us to shut out our ideas and lock them away possibly throwing away the key.

Now I do realize that not everyone that walks this thing of our does this, but it seems a few do. Solvent thinks back a few days and remembers hearing a speech that was heard as she had walked by. I believe it was during Donnie's speech that I had over heard where it seemed that people were encouraging younger ones to venture out into these streets and try their hand at the discussions that take place on the soap boxes and street corners. Which I completely agree with it.

I know that someone is probably thinking that regardless of the issue that you stand the risk of ridicule and possibly embarrassment, and yes this is true. But with a contest, with something as simple as a new presentation to try to liven up the streets in a hope that people will again walk them eagerly, should they get as scrutinized as they were? Should they in the end feel like new ideas aren't welcome. I know of a lot of new ideas that have come to be by the Godmother of Detroit that have been followed and are still in play. Is it just because of their rank that they aren't "able to." Are some of us so simple minded that we can't open our minds to something that very well might entertain a lot of us even it is by a Goomba or someone of any rank?

Stepping off the soap box Solvent looks around and sees a few that she recognizes as those that seemed to have enjoyed the new idea that had been presented and smiles. Like Butt_Ox stated, "The results are in, and as it turns out, you are all retarded.(at least, those who jumped in this guy's shit for trying to bring something unique and interesting to the streets)" Hopefully more people can see like him and embraced a new and different idea. I also hope that those younger and older mafioso will not be scared to use their imaginations, after all I think that is what we might be about more then some might like to think.

well i only speak for myself but i welcome any and all idea's because we need them so that this thing of ours does not become stagnant and we only end up with the same old crowd, we need new blood and new ideas if we are to survive and grow.

And as for those who would put someone down just because their presentation was not good can kiss my arse (ASS),  i believe we should help and guide the so that they can learn and grow with in this world of ours, and i thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.

Hostile walks past Solvent over hearing her speech, he decides to speak up on the subject.

My bloodline has been around for a long time. I do believe younger or older mafioso should bring something new to the shores. It seems that Woodstock(May he rest in peace) was trying to do that, but was shut down by mafioso. Ignorance like that makes this world boring. Who honestly cares if he made it only for the Crew Leaders. Instead of shutting this man down on his attempts of making a new for himself and for giving this place something new it should be embraced. I personally miss some of the things such as Daze Craze 420. People like BuddahBear,Admines,or who ever brings something new should be embraced. I'm not saying that goes for everything they bring to streets should but small things such as my contest and Woodstock's I.Q. . I'm personally grow a bit bored seeing nothing but stories of bank robberies or some type of small crime. I think the people that disagree with Woodstock's I.Q. should just stop bitching about it. The man tried his best and ultimately then took his life. Yes, he did disrespect a member but her name is not revealed. He stood up and did something new and for that I say good job to him. I say embrace change because sometime its best.

Hostile carries on about his business going back to HQ to relax for a bit.
