End of Armageddon Started by: DeeFreeze on Jun 15, '15 09:38

Rubbish and debris filled the air.  Gun shells filled the empty streets.  The empty silent neighborhood said more than words.  Is the bloodshed over?

As Dee fixing his posture, stranglers appear to hear him speak.

"Well people our days of Armageddon is over.  First off I would like to say rest in peace to every fallen solider.  Our world has seen the end of too many great bloodlines.  These past few days have been filled with nothing but sorrow and grief as we watch our dearest friends be laid to rest.

Was it all worth it? Why did this happen? Was justice served? Questions that don't matter anymore.  Why it happened or how it happened is not of relevance anymore.  How shall we move forward is the concern I share with you all today.

Should our world fall into a free for all? Every man/women for themselves? Allies and friendships were clearly destroyed during our days of armageddon so should we see every city for themselves?

*Dee waves his hands to quiet down the crowd that has formed*

Calm down people I did not say this was our fate, this is the fate I will like to avoid.  With our current power structure I think our world will see its flourishing days again.  I understand we all lost a lot, but I will like to think about the positives.  Our world gets as close to a fresh start as we have seen in years.  Old bloodline return.  Opportunity to plant new seeds.  And hopefully some days of peace.

The current leaders we have set in place, have my full support in their ability to make our country worth while again.  They have their meetings to talk about how to move forward but I wanted to come to the streets today to get a feel for how the rest of the world feels about our days of Armageddon being over? How does the general public believe we should move forward? Any suggestions for our leaders?"

"Buongiorno, signore. This war, as is any, was inevitable. So many great leaders, who all made decisions to secure the safety of their city, are at some point going to disagree on something. Tensions built, the men and women who reached such dizzying heights are eventually going to put pressure on their foundations. They will wobble, steady themselves and regain their balance, however will always fall in the end."

Genco nudges a corpse with his shoe, almost certain that it just moved. The acrid smell of gunpowder still lingered, a stark reminder of the friends and family lost.

"Si, in the end the higher you reach, the more of a target you become, to those looking both up and down."
