Ahhh the sun, the birds and the beautiful weather!

RedHood says cheerfully as she strolls through the streets, but before long she approaches a large group of people. She hopes it's not another heated debate and when she is nearer she is not disappointed. Another Rourke has become don. Red always knew those Rourke's were special.

Now I've never personally met PedroRourke, but I've heard many a time that he is a great man. I believe this, as not just anyone is given the rank of don or deserves it. By the words that I have heard, I believe this man does deserve it.

RedHood smiles and pauses.

How can I say that without ever meeting the man? How do I know for sure?

Well he simply fits all the categories of a Don.

A don is the boss of a crime organization. Pedro has that down with flying colors. He represents himself and family well. If you get a chance to catch a glimpse of the man you will always notice he is in a well tailored suit. He also represents our way of life 100%. Which is another great quality I take into consideration.

Pedro came into this thing of ours not to long ago and has already come great lengths to be where he is now in such a short period of time. He was personally given the right to start his own family by the Godmother of Detroit, Marietta. There are always a large handful of men standing around him when he does make himself present in public. When you have that much protection it means you are something big.

RedHood pauses as she wraps up wanted to say.

Congratulations Don Pedro. You deserve this and I send you a long and prosperous life.

And to answer your question DiamondJim, no it will not. We'll always have Dons as we have many great men and women in our streets. It's just the way the world turns.

She giggles and hops away into the sunset.

I am, belatedly as usual because I am one old lady (damn it) and cannot keep track of the time to save my life, here to congratulate you on the momentous occasion in your career, PedroRourke. You have worked hard for this, and I must say I appreciate having you as a solid and stable presence in the city of Detroit.

You and your men are a joy to work with, and it seems to me that your new rank of Don not only is a victory for you, but for all of your men as well. Retribution has come a long way since the family was torn apart by war. With you at it's helm, however, I never doubted for a minute that you would all do well.

So congratulations to you, Pedro. I remember not too long ago that I was toasting your forefather of the same name in the same manner. I wish to commemorate this occasion by giving to you what I gave to him, all that time ago.

Marietta pulls out a box and hands it over. Pedro opens it and finds, inside, a shiny new Walther PPK. The woman smiles at the man and nods.

Pedro Senior used to steal mine from time to time on odd jobs, and it became sort of an inside joke between us.

Once more, many congratulations and celebrations on achieving Don, Pedro. You've done very well, and I hope you are proud of all you have accomplished.

You know I think sometimes it's hard for captains or crews inside of a city already containing a Godfather to stay motivated knowing their turn at the helm may not be for a while.  Pedro Rourke has conducted himself with dignity, respect, and motivation of a person who has just received the blessing to run a family.  To get Don is no small feat, and he has never backed down from the challenge.  In the recent war against Odd, Pedro was on the front lines with the Philadelphia Godfather killing hitters, or whatever else was required of him.  Those are the actions of a Godfather, even if for now he is called Don.  Congratulations.

Congratulations Pedro, Such a great leader yet again making Don. You really am a great guy Pedro and I loved it being alongside you in Detroit. Your an excellent asset to Detroit and Marietta has to be proud to have you bud.
